Yes, as with a 10% cashback offer, this would be very lucrative and good to buy.
It would have been good if Redmi 3S priced @ Rs.5999
And 3GB RAM one with Fingerprint priced @ Rs.7999
Even at current prices, Redmi 3S would sell faster, and i was expecting the launch today as Lenovo k5 note was also launched

13MP
5 inch super handy display
2GB RAM
metal body
android marshmallow
Stunning design
multiple color options
I think this is perfect combination @ Rs.6999
The only regret is why India still don’t have a single manufacturer like Mi when it is the second largest smartphone market……

Yes.
I am thinking to buy LG K7 (Please don’t laugh)
I once bought redmi 1s but build quality of these phones is really very cheap
LG has a good build quality, though specifications differ
what do u say..?
I have 2 Redmi 1s, they are over 2 years old now and still going strong without any issues.
Redmi 1s was launched in India on 26 August 2014. Did you purchase from abroad?

Well i got it in the first sale, not going on exact dates. its completing 2 years this month. But bottom line is 2 phones, both working great without any issues. Post this model they came with many others and things have only improved and become better.

HD is more than enough and full hd display would consume more RAM and battery charge
should i buy RN3 or this one? Anyone can tell?

It depends your usage pattern. If you multitask and game a lot. Go for RN3. If you are a casual user prefer 3s
RN3 is gonna be delivered tomorrow from Amazon. I don’t have a smartphone for a month now. The chipset is not that great?
Lol something similar case here, don’t have phone and was waiting for this one. I am planning for 3s prime but can’t wait more than 14,15Aug,

Chipset is not bad
Same as that of Lenovo K5
performance wont be that great but as it is powering a 720p display it should do just fine
Consider Redmi 3s if you like compact handsets
After using oneplus x for a week, redmi note 3 feels so bulky

RN3 is better in every way than 3s. Go for it if you can’t wait. Prefer the 3 GB variant
waiting for next version with Type c usb…hope they add soon

lenovo vibe k5 note with gyroscope sensor + gorilla glass + good service and good build and quality of hardware use
asus and lenovo both are much better in quality and software optimisation
Both phones are good but have different specs and hardware.
Redmi 3S Prime
Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor 1.4GHz max
Adreno 505 GPU
3GB LPDDR3 RAM
32GB eMMC 5.1 flash
Up to 128GB expandable microSD (Vfat format)
4000mAh (min) / 4100mAh(typ) battery
Fingerprint sensor
===============
Redmi Note 3
3GB + 32GB
Snapdragon 650, 64-bit hexa-core 1.8GHz
Adreno 510
3GB dual-channel LPDDR3 RAM
32GB eMMC 5.0 Flash
4000mAh / 4050(typ)
0.3s fingerprint unlocking
4G hybrid dual SIM, up to 32GB microSD support
Both chipset are good and have their own pros and cons. 3s is a budget phone , Note 3 is a mid budget phone. So depending on what the usage is you can go for the same. For any regular user the Redmi 3S would suffice, else go for 3S Prime . If you want to even go for something better than Redmi Note 3 is there.

Unless you prefer stock OS, these arent good options

Used Lenovo A7000 for 1.5 yrs. Will never believe if they can rectify the heating problems. The keyboard gets stuck in all Lenovo phones after only 10 min of normal usages. Though they upgraded all phones to android M, won’t ever consider a Lenovo phone. Also will never turn towards any Mediatek device. Used 4.
Regarding service, all micromax, Xiaomi, Lenovo Leeco, Huawei or Blackberry have the same HCL touch common service center so it’s the same in case of all brands though in any of those centers 70% of people that come own a Xiaomi phone.

Their market share is also of same proportions.

Dunno about service but in bangalore, there are many mi exclusive service centers
But yeah service is the same for all
Redmi note 3 has zero heating issues, xiaomi nailed it with recent firmware updates
3s is not having dual tone flash, 13 MP camera..
rn3 is having 16MP and dual done

Resolution & Finger Print Sensor.
Yeah one more CHINESE SHIT 🙌🙌😁😁😜
then why is there so much hype…
how is redmi 3s any better than coolpad note 3 lite..

mediatek vs snapdragon??

How about a few to start like?
coolpad note 3 lite VS 3S
Mediatek VS Snapdragon
Android OS, v5.1 (Lollipop) VS Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow)
2500 mAh battery VS 4100 mAh battery
guys even I am a fan of Mi..but seriously Coolpad is a much better choice here for a 7k budget
u get a fingerprint sensor, 3gb ram, much better camera etc…I have not observed any heating/lag in CP lite so MT vs SD doesn’t mean much
battery is also decent, inferior to 3s yes

I would never buy mediatek chipset phones, they are rubbish, Snapdragon chipset is way ahead and much better.
Bought a couple of phones that were running Mediatek chipset and they all died in 18 months of time frame post warranty got over.
So my personal experience i would not buy Mediatek as they do not have longevity.Snapdragon is anyday better.
So no Coolpad for me as it comes with Mediatek chipset.
Those who are calling it a chinese shit or imported ones.. Kindly note that these will be Made in India products. Do check before putting something..
OP,
Redmi 3s & 3S Prime both have HD screen only. Please correct ur post.
