what does ‘first copy’ mean? and how to know that (it is so) ? [i have faint recollection of having purchased a dozen or so (Rolex) in my past life but those were different models.]

do not disclose all that in open forums. bachoN par galat asar padega. people will get the wrong hints.
but the question still remains on: ‘what is’ and ‘how to identify’ part!

gee !! thanks for the pointers @good physique man !
so it is a creative way of calling something ‘counterfeit’ or as the posts (in the IIN Quora links) call it: ‘duplicate’ !
well then, in my views, it isn’t even worth the few seconds or few kilobytes spent loading a fake product listing page (if it were so).
the very pivot of owning or flaunting such aspirational luxuries rests on ‘power to own the real thing’.
so anyone else know if the site in general or this listing is legit ?
[OFF-TOPIC] @good physique man past life bro.. previous birth i was some oil baron in Russia, if the PLR therapist did the process correctly.[/OFF-TOPIC]
@Spock wrote:firstly, if the copy is really a first copy… it is very difficult to determine differences basis photographs online, you need to have the watch in your hand to spot em easily.@Skydimer wrote: Bro this one is first copy watch not a original one.what does ‘first copy’ mean? and how to know that (it is so) ? there are videos on YouTube by experts who give you a walk through on how to spot a fake.. they are very helpful. search by watch model on YouTube (you can also spot very good copies of fake sneakers this way)…
most of the differences while making copies are evident where ever “engraving is involved” , most Chinese fake manufacturers have your usual lazer engraving machine for the purpose with accuracy ranging from 70 to 80%.
whereas all big watch makers ( who are not involved in hand crafting – unlike vacheron constantin etc) use state of the art precision lazer engravers with accuracy upwards of 99%.
+ the videos can help with other things to watch for
also, apply the age old rule, for luxury watches …"if a deal is too good to be true then it probably is "
@Spock wrote:and a Daytona for 12k ???? you don’t even need to ask if it’s a fake.@Skydimer wrote: Bro this one is first copy watch not a original one.what does ‘first copy’ mean? and how to know that (it is so) ? who knows, legit things too make for good dumping if procured for free (stealing, gift received etcetera) or if going out of business kind of distress sale. no idea if they are ‘pre-owned’ though (when buying it from such folks as @sobirvs them resellers).
by the way: another good/bad invention by the spin-doctors is to call a ‘second-hand’ or ‘used’ item as ‘pre-owned’ !

but this person who has put it for sale/ discount doesn’t even have the un-discounted price correct (78,990), rolex sells upwards of 3 lacs in India…
but then….yes anything is possible…
still not advisable to spend 11 k on speculation
Bro this one is first copy watch not a original one.
