Is it worth 2500? From the image, it looks like 3 feet have been allotted to the study space and only one foot to the storage space. Guess you can get one made locally with equal storage and study spaces for the same amount.

Material may not cost so much, but these days carpenters ask minimum Rs.500 just to fix a couple of doors. I am sure they would charge at least 2k as labour charges to make a desk like this or maybe a little more. But this should suffice for my niece who is in 2nd grade, though she might have wanted those Barbie, pokemon study desks. maybe a couple of graffiti’s might solve her problem.

Edit- But I agree for about 4-5k you can get made a customstudy table with attached computer station.

Fight with them bitterly and get a remark on your account. Getting 500 from them for cancellation of product worth 2.5k can’t be done with plain chats.
