What is the minimum transaction size for the cashback?
As long as Rs.20,000 is spent on the card for the purchase, you will be eligible for the offer.
What is the maximum cash back that I can avail?
This is a Flat Rs.2,000 Instant Discount. So, the maximum discount possible per HDFC Bank Card across Amazon.in Site and App is Rs.2,000. The offer is valid only once per card.
Is the discount applicable on EMI?

take in full, along with GST on interest which is not covered as part of any zero cost EMI option (if available).
During June offer, I bought in no cost emi on icici card + 1500 instant discount
Here the interest of 3 months comes to 760 + GST So benefit is only 1K 🤤
So 1175 discount if you consider 3 months emi.
I’m thinking taking amazon prime free trial period of 30 days and then during prime sale starting from 16 july, using hdfc no cost emi and 10% cash back if it’s available on one plus 6.
