RuPay-JCB Global card launched by SBI, Axis bank etc with unlimited Lounge access & 30% cashback outside India:
National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and Japan-based JCB International have launched RuPay JCB Global Cards, which can be used at all point of sales (POS) terminals which accept RuPay cards and terminals outside India which accept JCB.
This is the first time when JCB brand cards are issued in India.
State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Axis Bank, Union Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Andhra Bank, City Union Bank, TJSB Bank, and many more banks will issue RuPay-JCB Global Cards.
As a launch campaign, NPCI and JCBI jointly offer a special cashback program where the card members can get cashback of 15% for POS transactions outside India and additional 15% (total 30%) in selected popular destinations for Indian travellers: Thailand, Singapore and UAE.
Additionally, JCB provides international services such as in-city card member lounges, called JCB Plaza Lounge, in USA, France, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore as well as JCB Plaza in Japan and round the year merchant promotions all over the world.
Following the enablement of POS terminals and ATMs in India for incoming foreign JCB card members in 2017, both parties have entered into the second phase of the strategic partnership with this launch to serve the need of increasing outbound Indian travellers.

Yes, RuPay-JCB cards are live now.

earlier they had this rupay-discover commogulation ; basically it allows rupay which is domestic only for foreign trsaction , i had one of those .. it never utilised that discover network int. transaction when tried on foreign website
first you need to enabled your RuPay-Discover card for International E-commerce transaction form your bank.
2nd thing, for security reason some banks are not enabled International E-commerce transaction.
For example -
HDFC RuPay-Discover card work on International E-commerce transaction
but Bank of India RuPay-Discover card not support for International E-commerce transaction, but wait Bank of India visa/mastercard also not supported for International E-commerce transaction.
Banks will decide they enabled International E-commerce transaction or not.
One more thing – I think all RuPay-Discover Credit cards are enabled for International E-commerce transaction but debit card side only bank will decide.
Has anyone got Central Bank Rupay JCB card?? My branch told me there is no such card.

City Union Bank also issue RuPay-JCB International Platinum Debit Card, some of my friends already received RuPay-JCB International Platinum Debit Card.
