If you go for WD Green or Kingston A400 series, you can get 480 GB for 4.5k. It was as low as 4k during the Amazon Prime days offer. Better value for money. It may be slightly slower than Samsung in benchmarks, but on older PCs, the difference is not noticeable.
Even Crucial has launched its 480 GB SSD for 4.5k.
Many good options available. Choose wisely.
