There’s a requirement of reciever coil (formally called chip) at the back side of mobile phone which is responsible of transmitting current from pad to mobile phone
If u have a S6, S7, then u dont need to buy it additionally while in case of S5, Note 3,4 u need to buy it

fake for sure, there is no way u will know if its genuine without opening it up
