Definitions
i. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India (SCB).
ii. Card: Means credit card issued by SCB.
iii. Cardholder: Shall mean the person in whose name the has been issued by SCB and whose name is embossed or imprinted in the
said card.
iv. Offer: The offer means “Get 5X reward points on every amount spent in insurance category on your StanChart credit cards”.
v. Offer Period: Offer valid only from 00:00:01 hours 25 December 2019 to 23:59:59 hours 31 March 2020.
vi. Qualified Customer: The offer is applicable to all StanChart credit card customers who receive the offer communication and who opt
in for the campaign.
vii. Non Eligibility: NR Account Holders, Emirates, Ultimate, DigiSmart and Landmarks credit card holders.
2. Offer Details
i. Customer can register for the campaign by messaging “INS” to 57575 or by giving a miss call on 8080944959 from their registered
mobile number or customers can opt in via registered email by clicking on the URL sent by bank in the e-mailer.
ii. Customers can get a maximum of 5,000 reward points through this offer.
iii. Customer will qualify for 5X reward points if they use their Standard Chartered credit card in the insurance category as defined by
VISA/MasterCard.
iv. Customers who avail EMI facility for payment towards insurance payment will also be eligible for 5X reward points.
v. In case the cardholder cancels any transactions due to which he/she has qualified for the reward points, then those transactions will not
be considered in the calculation of the additional reward points.
vi. Accumulated rewards will get posted into the customer’s account within 60 days from the end of offer period.
vii. Queries related to fulfilment of this offer would be entertained only till 31 May 2020.
Illustration –
If a customer opts in and spends INR 150 on insurance premium using this card, he/she would be eligible for additional 5 reward points.
3. Communication of the offer
i. This is a registration based offer.
ii. The offer will be communicated to customers via SMS, eDM& IVR on their registered mobile numbers only.
4. General Terms and Conditions
i. This is an exclusive offer provided by Standard Chartered Bank. All details regarding the offer are available on the Bank’s website
(www.sc....in).
ii. The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify,
withdraw or discontinue the offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in these terms and conditions,
nor shall running this offer be construed as an obligation on the Bank to continue the offer up to the termination/expiry date.
iii. Participation in this offer is entirely voluntary and it is agreed and understood by the Participants that participation shall be deemed to
have been made on a voluntary basis.
iv. The offer is non-transferable.
v. The offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made for any reason whatsoever.
vi. All disputes under this offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
vii. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the offer. The Qualified Customers shall be intimated
by the Bank through Email only.
viii. In all matters relating to this offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
ix. By participating in the offer, the Participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
x. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment,
which may arise or accrue to the client due to provision of the offer, shall be to the sole account of the client.
