I never used both … I just looked at the specs and wrote recommendation

SHQ1200 has got 13.5 mm driver so it has got more muscle power to reproduce BASS over CX 180 … that’s it … CX 180 is like a small bird with more treble and SHQ1200 is 1.5 times bigger than CX 180
Ans Max sound levels per watt both are same i.e. 110 dB/mW
