This is crazy, prices are crashing like anything, I bought the same box or Rs 395 last week.

If they give a primary connection at this price, I will buy one

Btw u find TS very expensive.. we get 40+ HD & Kannada pack along with 99 base pack for total of 381rs/month on airtel. Main drawback of TS is the HD access fee + limitation on ability to view only those HD channels which are subscribed.. similar pack as above all be 600+ in TS sadly

And if that is possible , then can we reactivate it again when we need it.

I asked in tata sky care they said they are not running any offer like this,and not with third party

Yes, you can swap existing box with new one
Simply purchase this deal from amazon & thereafter technician will visit to ur home to install new secondary connection :
step 1- Let him do his work(don’t disturb him) as u will get free 1 month pack & hd access on second box.(if u don’t have 2nd tv then do 2nd step directly).
step 2- Now comes a real part after 1 month, call tatasky & tell them that u want to switch off services of 2nd connection & want to swap the new box with old one.
They will accept ur request without asking for a penny again

I’m have 2 secondary connections so 3 connections in total, I want to keep a hd box and remote in spare so Can I take new connection and disconnect one of the other secondary connection. HD box is our property and you dont have to return right when you disconnect right?

Simply purchase this deal from amazon & thereafter technician will visit to ur home to install new secondary connection :

in fact, as per the website, 99 pack shd have 2 topup along with it. but CC changed plan to 99 with just one topup (Kannada pack of 57rs).. we anyways wanted HD, so got HD pack added as well.. so total of 99 + 57 + 225 = 381rs/month.

This is the best pack I feel since you get your local language channels, most of English, Hindi, movies and sports in HD.

You get some 40+ HD channels in that 225rs HD topup of airtel … Check dreamdth forum for details/discussions.n

It is directly installed.

For me the installation happened within 12 hours. I paid Rs 395 for the second box. Luckily i had the previous new box Hd offer still running which lapsed day before yesterday post which they started charging me for HD access. I raised a complaint and they refunded me Rs 175 for hd access fees. Today as part of Saturday offer they rolled out HD access for 1 month for Rs 1 only.
I deactivated my daily HD access pack and reactivated the same for Rs 1. Saved Rs 174 also. Now i am happy.

I have 2 secondary conn. and all are running on different dish and lnb. When technician come to install, I let him do what he want to. After he went, I attached and aligned it with my dish tv antenna and other one to reliance antenna. Both have LNB that were meant for HD so no problem with HD viewing here.

My main connection (running on Tata Sky antenna) and other 2 conn. running on antenna of Dish TV and Reliance that were lying idle from months. Bought Stallite Finder few months back from eBay at just 149 with 200 off coupon. Now it is paying back. I have installed my dish tv HD LNB to main conn and it is giving 80% quality while that of Tata sky (4 port LNB) was giving 50% only.

Someone said that STB is our property. Actually nothing is our. STB, Remote, Antenna, Adapter, LNB, HDMI cable or AV cable, Coax cable are all company’s property. They can take it any time. Mostly they don’t but they can. When I installed third conn. techinician took away two port LNB which was installed when I took 1st secondary conn. by saying it is company’s property. I called TS and they said if you don’t we will deduct 350 from ur acc.

This is crazy. Tata sky is ruling here.

I booked Airtel DTH third connection and these arseholes asked 490 for setupbox, 230rs rental and it’s been 5 days and I’m still waiting for the connection.

Need to plan now and move to Tata Sky. Only issue is Tata Sky DTH Signal disruption in rain which is quite often as compared to Airtel.
