Digi Savings account.
What about Transfer/Transaction limits for DigiSavings account? Can I load money from Debit cards through app even for Regular DBS Savings account?
And, for all those purchasing from your CC keep in mind that total transactions above 2 Lacs per card and 10 Lacs for savings account in a year will be reported to ITD. If your earning is less than these limits you should be worried.

I don’t know what you mean by regular DBS savings account. There is DBS app account (without any KYC) and there is the KYC verified digisavings account. KYC verified accounts will have huge limits (they show transfer limit of 5 lakhs) not sure about non-KYC accounts though.
Also you are right about 2 lakhs+ credit card purchases and they would only send you a notice. If you are having less income then you can explain them that you bought these TC cards and transferred it back to your account through wallets. But for every purchase and every transfer you have to provide the transaction details. Even I got a notice last year regarding my spends of 2 lakh+ and I just asked them to check my IT returns so that they know none of it is black money.
@ranjithsai01 Although I have known about the 2 Lacs trigger for ITD reporting for a very long time, I have never received a notice despite doing transactions more than that limit on a monthly basis. Check PM. Ref: https://www.desidime.com/forums/dost-and-dimes/t...
Anyway, I think you missed to answer an important question from @dealzeal, the one about whether you can add funds to the DigiSavings account via debit/prepaid cards. I am also interested in the answer as I might upgrade my Digibank wallet to the DigiSavings account next month after finally getting an Aadhaar card (it’s become an indirect must-have ID nowadays). Regarding digisavings, no gift cards/wallet cards/credit cards work. Only master/visa debit cards works and have wroked only 2 out of 10 times for me. Best way to load digisavings is through NEFT or net banking (Many banks don’t support it which includes SBI).

I meant the old-school/Brick & Mortar/Physical/Paper Bank account where we get passbook, cheque book, DD and stand in queues for various transactions.
Edit: This one https://www.dbs.com/in/personal/deposits/earn-u...
I have no idea whether they have an app for regular savings account too. That’s why my question of whether money can be loaded from Debit cards if they have an app for that. I guess someone here has a salary account at DBS with 50K AMB requirement. I believe these regular savings account will be a full-fledged one without any limitations whatsoever unlike DigiSavings (with KYC)
@DealSeeker I don’t think they send a notice to everyone unless they find discrepancies with ITR and/or earnings/spending mismatch. Having said that I feel one should not be concerned if they have sufficient earnings to show those spends. These are reported only to keep track of large transactions.
Now I get it. I just forgot the fact that there is a physical DBS bank
Anyway I have no idea about the ‘physical’ DBS account. I was talking only about the digibank app and the digisaving account provided through that app after KYC (aadhar) verification.
I guess even digisavings (KYC verified) accounts have full fledged benefits (no benefits of cheque book though). I have used it to transfer around 3+ lakhs in one day to 4 different accounts. No charges for anything transactions and also have withdrawn 40k using the debit card on a single day. Other than that I have been using it as a fund transfer tool as it has no other charges. So for us online customers transactions without charges is the only thing that makes the account ‘full fledged’

@DealSeeker No Credit card, prepaid or otherwise, will work on Digisavings. Rbl cards worked in August but stopped working since then. Icici Debit card works everytime for me.

You are right bro, even if they send notice also ,we will be having complete proof for all these things.Like purchased from amazon, added here and transferred back to account. No need to worry. And coming to credit card,i think ,now rule is bit reduced,,if u spend 10 lakhs from ur credit card, then credit card bank should report to ITD,,if u make 1 lakh cash payment towards credit card, then they have to inform ITD and 10 lakhs for any mode of payment towards card are reported, unless we r genuine and filing returns ,no need to worry .
Note: the ITD willl send notice only if u r spending more than 2 lakhs from credit card but not doing any IT filing or returns
