No Uber auto in my city
This comes and goes since it is not consistent, not dependable.. But to go to the airport it costs less than half the taxi charge.. I mean the taxi not ola or uber who charges double what the taxi guys charge.
This surge pricing is double or triple what the taxi rates are which are like 11 or 12 rs/km.. .. for a 20km trip Uber wanted rs1100.. Thats a rs500 trip and even airport taxi is cheaper.. For shorter trips which cost over rs250 min taxi fare its better to get a taxi than Uber or even Ola..

I am in Bangalore right now, Uber Auto is not available here, i checked with my application.
They have been bringing this out since 2015.. But the auto guys stop taking their phones with them to get the requests so wont show up.. Since many of them can easily get rides, why depend on Uber or Ola? Also the number of auto’s are like a dozen or so.. I think because it always says no cars available when I look..
