Where did you see yhe Citibank discount banner? Is it discount or cashback?
So, it is not clear whether it is cashback or instant discount?
cashback as per 27 second mark on the video
Last year, I bought iPhone 6S+ during Amazon Diwali sale around Oct 27-28. The citibank cashback was 1750rs. Don’t remember the minimum shopping amount. Expect same this year or maximum 2000rs considering Citibank offered 2k discount on Snapdeal in last sale.
Another sale and again a chance for Amazon to gain more Prime members.
Wow sale. Was feeling low these days after end of bbd of fk
Hdfc or citi??
Had a great time but bought nothing in last sale will buy at least a laptop in this one
Instant discount cold have made the deal sweeter

All those people spending over 2 lakh (Total per financial year) on a single credit card.. Be wary.. You will get an IT notice since your bank is obliged to report it to them…
Please pay heed before you cross that limit….

Simple. Get an addon card for your mom/dad. I’m doing the same and got the notice too. Login to IT site and there’s an option to fill for that notice reason, card is shared with my family +pan number of your family with whom you’re sharing( your family member should be paying IT too). I havn’t received any notice after that.

This I did not knew… I thought that its per credit card & if you have more than one credit card from various banks then you can spend upto 2 lakh on each card…

now all data are electronically transmitted by the bank to the IT dept. So no thresh-hold limit for individual cards. It is the IT dept that aggregates the card data based on linked PAN number. So even if you have cards from 10 banks and spent 30K in each card, the data would flow to the IT dept and aggregated against your PAN number.

Applied for it right away.
This info is half correct. Yes those spending high amounts on CRedit card would get notice frm IT Dept. But this threshold is now increased to Rs 10 lakh per card in a financial year . This is changed from Rs 2 lakh since last 2 years. If you are having two different bank cards and doing trxns of Rs 5 lakh each your both banks wont notify it to IT Dept.

No….. Debit cards are exempted but any transaction (single) above one lakh attracts scrutiny by IT Dept..

+1, Please provide source for this info since I could not find even one single link which can verify your claim…
Beware if you are spending too much via online payment in short period . also if you thinking by having multiple bank cards you can fool them, so you are in dream .
So consult your CA or financial consultant if your spending are crossing 50k to 1lacs in a very short time gap .
