Thanks mate.. i was asking the activation in GCI website. Its saying it will take upto 5 business days. Activated it in GCI. Lets wait and see now

so after activation on GCI website we have to register on edenred.co.in ?
so 5 working days to get activated on GCI and 2-3 days on edenred …

It’s not really about the distance. I happened to speak to them about this and felt the reply they gave was really stupid. The lady told me that they want to promote gift card usage in non-metros so they are not charging any shipping (more than shipping she said it is a convenience fee). I told her that banks offer gift cards at a more competitive prices and they are just losing out on a lot of business. She was clueless about it and said its the management decision and probably smiled

Yes.. i think atleast we will spend another week with out the cards activated. GCI + Edenred. Really a lengthy process. Already 10 days gone from the date of purchase.

Try some tier 2 cities like for ex – check for pincode 561207 & max is 5000rs Tickets GC. If you try to purchase 10000rs Tickets GC, shipping charges will be applied. But you can purchase multiple 5000rs Tickets GC.

Some management decision indeed …. Sometimes they have to provide with free shipping on certain days to check the response & make some changes to their Shipping charges.

Its showing as not active

Yes Bank has activated cards today. I last checked at 03:00 PM on Edenred website and it was showing card not active but in evening at 05:40 PM it was proceeding to registration page. Then I came back to GCI and checked status which shown as inactive.

Actually GCI sends activation request to Yes Bank and they will show active on their website once Yes Bank Gift card department intimate them. After that we will receive SMS but now you can register and use your card. Same had happened when I ordered Axis Card from PayTM. On GCI it was shown inactive even next day but I registered with Axis 3D secure.

btw It is Edenred and not endered as written by many.

How to link the cards guys? “This card can’t be linked” error coming. Do we have to create new account for all the cards?

Tried TC max. on Pockets, SBI Buddy didn’t worked. Tried on paytm by adding 100. worked. Now will have to handover 3 card to my friend who is a avid shopper.

Already paid. Most of my policies have due dates till June 30 with extension till July 31st. All settled.
