was i7 one was available for lesser than 58 k ? if yes, how much?

2 days back…its not shipped yet
Few hours ago i got to know that some people got it for 60k
What to do now
Should i cancel it or it’s still worth?

I guess i5 one @49k is a loot but i7 will not that much as other components are same except processor
Processor difference is hardly noticeable for day to day activities and casual gaming

But if I’ll cancel it …I won’t be getting i5 at that price …or even any other lappy with that config

This is flipkart only model ..if warranty extension not allowed then it will be huge loss for buyers because if any part in motherboard stop working ,the whole mother board needs to be replaced even for wifi adapter ..mother board will costs 40000 minimum

I5 at 49k is loot and i7@58-60 k is a deal not a loot
Also this is flipkart exclusive model and no where sold in India hence the Mrp of 129990 does not make sense as same spec laptops are available from reputed brands in the price range 70-85k..it might be planned trick by flipkart ..never go by MRP when it is a store exclusive model..

More over it is not the same predator higher end model ..they renamed it to Helios 300 to distinguish ..actual predator starts from 160000 with better quality screen ,build quality and specs ..this is more of plastic and dim screeen which will not be visible outdoors.

Those who got the laptop, pl. confirm about the warranty extension? Ask to customer care person of acer. its a big thing, so pls share.

Acer straightaway rejected warranty extension after providing them serial number.

• When it comes to laptop, the laptop doesn’t feels like 1 lac +

• It is made full of cheap plastic, where as asus rog which i have bought has full metal body premium finish.

• Display has bending issue.

• Display is too much dull, u will suffer alot while using it. And in sunlight it worst, it can’t be used.

• Keyboard feels very cheap and flimsy. all keys are loose.

• The laptop heats alot when only browsing, i don’t know when gaming what will happen to it or it will fire.

• Battery backup not good, it lasts upto 2 hours light browsing.

I am planning to return this laptop. This laptop price should be less, it’s not worth. Instead go for Asus ROG series who are looking for good quality specs and build quality. I know the return policy of Flipkart sucks they will call u all day long on phone and try to convenience u to keep the product, now it is happening with me.

I would suggest others to think on all these points and if u can spend more 10k u could get world class hardware and build quality in Asus.

Price of this laptop was simply showed high 1 lac, infact it doesn’t justifies paying 50k. If u have still not received your order think on it twice and then only act.

Flipkart is here to finish off the dumb product stock with marketing strategy.

Regret this purchase.

Buying a laptop for gaming is always risky because if any part fails they usually ask you to replace motherboard and the graphics card comes with the motherboard so it costs quite a bomb unlike a desktop where you can simply replace the failed part.

Simple advice, if you were really in the market for a gaming laptop then go ahead because the risks are usually there with all gaming laptops. But if you bought one just because it’s on sale, do think again, it might come back to bite you in a year or so.

The product is listed on Acer India Facebook page…how can it be fake

Guys do not see USA review as it is not the same model though name is same..wait for someone to unbox it ..I will not accept delivery until someone unbox and shares experience here..my delivery is due tomorrow ..yes I agree with the guy ..it looks so cheap and plastic ..see the intellects digest review of this Indian variant ..

All IPS PANELS ARE NOT GOOD SAME TIME DELL ALIENWARE 17 inch has 120 hz TN panel which costs 335000

If a panel can not be colour accurate then it is useless whether it is ips or TN ..this model has 73% srgb and 49% adobe rgb compared to my msi laptop with TN panel 99% srgb

u say so , i ve verified with ACER and the laptop is eligible for warranty extension . dont simple scare ppl

I told them i am making the purchase from Flipkart for this particular model.
They told me , yes sir , we ve tied up with flipkart for that particular model
It is exclusively available with them.
It carries a 1 yr domestic warranty with ITW
(Its also mentioned on Flipkart that it carries 1 year domestic and 1 year International warranty – check for warranty information on the product page of FK)

The representative told me , on paying 2499 extra , u can get the warranty extended to 1+2 years , and the first yr becomes ADP
