iPhone XS has been discontinued last year immediately after the announcement of Iphone 11.
I think the price will drop further depending upon the availability of stock to be cleared.
Iphone Xs has not come in stock again inspite many cancellations.
I am still in dilemma that is it worth it to buy discontinued iphone in half lakh rupees
How does it matter if it’s currently being sold or not? Apple always discontinues their flagship product once the new model is launched. You either stay in the dilemma or spend double the amount and get their latest flagship.
Irrespective of the model being currently sold or not, you easily get at least 5 years of OS updates, the same warranty support as always and a great device. So how exactly does it hamper your decision to purchase if the model is discontinued?

Yes, even for personal use for genuine orders also they are cancelling. Not sure why they do and how they keep their place in mkt it goes on like this.
I think it’s first made in India lot iPhone XS , if anyone recieve please share it made in India or refurbished by Apple or what??
If XS and XR are selling made in India then last year we didn’t see any price drop or discounts on it.
It was promised to give benefits of made in India iPhones to consumer like import duty and other taxes which increased the price to 1 lac rupees but we were not given anything.
I was not aware that XS selling here are made in India , but I don’t think I will pay 50K for an Indian Phone.
We don’t buy just for premium phone reason but the brand value and international value it carries.
If Mercedes, Audi and Rolls Royce like brand starts manufacturing in India to reduce cost then will it carries the same value? same applied to Iphone too.
A big failure reason for iPhone SE was this only. People don’t want to pay premium price for a desi phone.
Price obviously plays a prominent role but here goes.
iPhone 11 was Apple’s best selling model last quarter with that model commanding 39% of overall iPhone sales.
Next was iPhone XS
And the next are iPhone 11 Pro and 11 pro max which both together accounting to around 15% of overall iPhone sales.

Today Apple listed iPhone XS 64gb gold on USA website at $699 which is refurbished means used and certified comes in plain white box.
How it possible that Flipkart sales below that price a new one sealed. Any idea ?
Such deals are crowd pullers and indirect marketing expenses. People talk about such deals and indirectly about Flipkart’s overall sale, once people start visiting their website they can cross sell many other items and convert to potential buyers.
There is a local store in Hyderabad that offers crazy deals. For example, they were selling iPhone 11 Pro Max 512GB (imported with warranty) with free nokia 2720 flip for Rs. 1,05,000. This iphone alone costs almost Rs. 1,45,000 (indian unit). If you go to their store expecting to buy 256gb version 11 pro at around 80k or so you would be left disappointed as he quotes almost 95k or so for it. He will have very limited units of 512gb 11 Pro Max which he uses to attract buyers and once they come they have to either get the 11 Pro max 512gb if in stock or spend a decent amount on other versions.
