So For eg , if the store is running 50% off , then this gv will be applied on MRP or the bill after discount at the store.

You can pay the final bill using GV. For example the final bill in store after store discounts comes to Rs. 3000, you can pay using 3000 GV irrespective of home much you spent on getting 3000 worth GV.

I don’t blame you for switching to the websites for buying clothes. I still like to purchase my high-value clothes offline because of the ability to feel the fabric and test the fit before making the purchase. Anyway, yes, buying the Shoppers Stop GC at 20% discount is well worth it. And GCs are treated like cash (without the ability to get any change back) so you will pay via the GCs after any store discount.
