Do not buy from cheatclues. I thought over past year they had improved, but actually they haven’t. In a recent order my prepaid item simply vanished, and they say they will check with Aramex where did it go.. Shameful that they became aware of this only after I pointed out. CEO of this cheater company should go to jail. It is good that government is bringing in regulation to check such fraud websites.

I agree it gets exaggerated. But flip side is FK and AZ rule the marketplace while SC us a lame facilitator with weaker rules and criteria.

sellers who don’t qualify for SD, FK & AZ come to SC.
So a lot many times expired copies (Anti virus), products out of warranty from mfg, old stock are sold on SC. people really do have to fight for getting warranty from service centre.

Its my personal opinion to rather pay 10% extra ( but below the in-store price) and buy from AZ or FK. especially the AZ fulfilled.

You took a very narrow view of the incident. Agreed, there will be exceptions but what matters is how well the merchant manages such issues. In case of cheatclues, they simply said a complaint will be forwarded to Aramex. This is ALL they did. In Amazon they would have refunded the money immediately. Cheatcles agreed for a refund only after I blasted them, and I not yet know how many weeks will it take for the money to get refunded. With cheatclues the chances of getting connect is very high, not worth taking chances. By the way, cheatclues had removed customer care phone number – a good customer-friendly step if one trusts you.

I mean even SC would be knowing that currently AZ and FK are ruling the market and I guess they know who to target and who not to target.
Its upto a user/customer to decide from where to buy and from where not to buy. I mean its completely a choice of user.
Also I have bought a product from shopclues and the seller was not having the stock, Yes I agree they maybe to some days extra to refund but there was no fuss which they created. I got the refund.

P.S I agree that AZ is better when it comes to customer service.

It is a set of car floor mats. Bought from cheatcles because it was about 30% cheaper than Amazon. But they forgot adding disclaimer in the website that their cheaper prices directly translates to inferior service and poor customer care.

So that’s the entire point right. They would have to compensate somewhere or the other.
I am not taking there side.
A bad experience is the most pathetic thing to happen.
Lets not become bargain hunters and make a purchase just because of price difference.
I have learnt it due to my similar mistakes over the period of time
But also lets try to put our point in a more proper way and not use Desidime as a platform to mock a brand.

R U Serious? Comparing Shopclues with Amazon Just go to SC site and check any product and see the no. of negative reviews ppl have given. Please stop taking their side.. SC is seriously fraud. No customer support, pathetic delivery time. Ppl should avoid buying stuff from SC…

You got that right I gave them back, and gave them back well – I do not like playing victim. One cannot reason with cheats politely and that is a tragedy we live with in India. Usually the merchant class think they can get away with anything – a fallout of the yesterday’s license raj I assume.
