Generally I would agree. It makes sense to buy a 250 rs item that lasts 3 seasons rather than a 100 rs item that lasts only one season. But wipers are an exception to this. I drive an SUV that is 20L+, and in past I have used blades that costs more than 500. They hold well even in fifth season, or even beyond if I had let them be, but lose efficiency/capacity to wipe the last few drops. I’ve learned my lesson now and use a new wiper (on couple of occasions 2 wipers) per season. In this sense wiper blades are similar to shaving blades. No matter whether it’s Gillette Gold or Platinum, you would hesitate to let it touch your face if you know that it’s being used for last three months. Ideally, I would prefer to have a
