I recharged my Vodafone no. with 399 yesterday, through My Airtel app, and received that following text:
‘New year gift from Vodafone. You got Rs30 Amazon Pay Code. Unlock code S2B77-XXXXX-XXXXX on https...DD doesn’t support Amazon link)/2Qa8jZ8 by 31Jan19 to recharge/shop. Valid once/user’
Though when I try to add the same on Amazon it says ‘We are unable to validate the Gift card/ Voucher code you have entered. For Anytime Gift,.you need to load before claiming’.

Probably yes, but no clear T&C yet on the Vodafone site only banner is showing, neither did amazon have any T&C, so need to talk to cc to clear the air
