It seems to be a decent product at a decent price.
After my home desk turning into a RC cars garbage few tips.
Go with cars which have 4 batteries in the car this one has just 2 so a but under powered but may be power to weight ratio might be stood.
Go with a car with the fancy steering remote. Kids (even smaller kids with adult bodies) go bonkers.
Go for RC cars which have individual 4 AA batteries because instead of the nicad console batteries can fit in Nimh giving more power, longer playtime and a lower CG since these batteries are heavier giving stability.
In drift cars have seen capacitor installed to boost power. If you have older RC car which had good power might be a good idea to swap capacitor or even the electric motor with the capacitor.
Even the remote’s pcb can be swapped since these cheaper ones don’t have battery management.
