Life is not fair - get used to it!

Life is not fair - get used to it!

A quote from ~ Bill Gates ~

This should be posted on every wall so that kids all over the world can read and digest these wise words.

Love him or hate him , he sure hits the nail on the head with this!
Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about eleven things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Rule 1: Life is not fair – get used to it!

Rule 2: The world doesn’t care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

Rule 3: You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won’t be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.

Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.

Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: They called it opportunity.

Rule 6: If you mess up, it’s not your parents’ fault, so don’t whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren’t as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were: So before you save the rain-forest from the parasites of your parent’s generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.

Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they’ll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. *This doesn’t bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.

Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don’t get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. (Do that on your own time.)

Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life, people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you’ll end up working for one.

If you can read this…thank a Teacher.
If you can read this in English…thank a Soldier!
And for life and everything else you have…thank God!
Now….think about this and smile if you agree and please pass this on….
If you don’t agree, go stick your head in the SAND and take a DEEP BREATH!

gonna make a poster of this and put in up on my wall..

A famous writer was in his study room. He picked up his pen and started writing :

**Last year, I had a surgery and my gall bladder was removed. I had to stay stuck to the bed due to this surgery for a long time.

**The same year I reached the age of 60 years and had to give up my favourite job. I had spent 30 years of my life in this publishing company.

**The same year I experienced the sorrow of the death of my father.

**And in the same year my son failed in his medical exam because he had a car accident. He had to stay in bed at hospital with the cast on for several days. The destruction of car was another loss.

At the end he wrote: Alas! It was such bad year !!

When the writer’s wife entered the room, she found her husband looking sad lost in his thoughts. From behind his back she read what was written on the paper. She left the room silently and came back with another paper and placed it on side of her husband’s writing.

When the writer saw this paper, he found this name written on it with following lines :

**Last year I finally got rid of my gall bladder due to which I had spent years in pain….

**I turned 60 with sound health and got retired from my job. Now I can utilize my time to write something better with more focus and peace…..

**The same year my father, at the age of 95, without depending on anyone or without any critical condition met his Creator…..

**The same year, God blessed my son with a new life. My car was destroyed but my son stayed alive without getting any disability……

At the end she wrote:

This year was an immense blessing of God and it passed well !!!

The writer was indeed happy and amazed at such beautiful and encouraging interpretation of the happenings happened in his life in that year !!!

In daily lives we must see that its not happiness that makes us grateful but gratefulness that makes us happy.

Be Happy … Stay Blessed 😃

“Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT.” — Bill Gates

Bullshit! As expected from a fool like Gates. He may be right about the competitive market and world at large but he is certainly wrong about LIFE!

There are no winners in life just as there are no losers. And it’s good that it is the case.

???? Life is similar to Boxing Game.
Defeat is not Declared when U Fall Down.
It is Declared when U Refuse to Get Up.

???? Always WRONG PERSONS Teach the
That is called LIFE EXPERIENCE.

???? ATTITUDE at its Best:
“My BACK is not a VOICE MAIL.
Kindly Say whatever U have by FACING ME”.

???? Keep Ur Face to the Sun,
U will not see the Shadow.

???? Our HOPES should be like HAIR NAILS.
No matter how many times they get Cut,
but they never stop Growing.
That is why they say,
Always Hope for the Best,
however Bad the Situation may be.

???? ‘MEMORIES’ are always Special.
Sometimes, We Laugh by
Remembering the days We Cried.

Sometimes, We Cry by
Remembering the days We Laughed.
That is LIFE.

Nice msg… must read.

When somebody told me that he has failed in his exams, my question is, “Is it a law that you will pass everytime?”

When someone told me that my boyfriend broke up with me, my question is, “Is it a rule that you will have successful relationship everywhere?”

When somebody asked me why am I in depression, my question is, “Is it compulsory to have confidence at all the time?”

When someone cried to me about his huge business loss due to his wrong decision, my question is, “Is it possible that you take all right decisions?”

The fact is our expectation that life has to be perfect/permanent is the biggest reason of our unhappiness. One has to understand the law of impermanence of nature.

After each sunny day, there has to be a dark night, after each birth there has to be certain deaths, for full moon to come again it has to pass through no moon. In this imperfection of nature, there is perfection.

So stop taking your failures and bad part of your life soooo personally or intensely, even God does not like to give you pain but its the cycle through which you have to pass. Prepare yourself for one more fight after each fall because even failures cannot be permanent…!

“If you cannot find the brighter side of life then polish the darker side”. Adjustment of attitude is the only instrument to live a life.

Silently sitting I realized… In life, we all have – An unspeakable secret, An irreversible regret, An un-kept promise, An unheard request, An irreplaceable loss, An unreachable dream, An unforgettable person we love. Still, life is about being happy anyhow… Because, everything in life can be summed up in just three words… “Life Goes On!”

Have faith and patience!!😊

Listen to the whisper… or wait for the brick!

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something.

As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag’s side door! He slammed on the brakes and drove the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, “What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That’s a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?”

The young boy was apologetic. “Please mister… please, I’m sorry… I didn’t know what else to do,” he pleaded. “I threw the brick because no one else would stop…” With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. “It’s my brother,” he said. “He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can’t lift him up.” Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, “Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He’s hurt and he’s too heavy for me.”

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handi-capped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out his fancy handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay. “Thank you and may God bless you,” the grateful child told the stranger.

Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the little boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home.

It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message: Don’t go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!

God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don’t have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It’s our choice: Listen to the whisper… or wait for the brick!
