Their popularity is going down. People are feeling that nothing is being done for them. Naturally announcement has to come. But the devil always lie in the detail. Just like they earlier announced that Central Govt will pay 85% of the railfare for migrants, while conveniently omitting that this 85% is the normal subsidy in each ticket and nothing extra and the workers (or the State Govt) actually have to pay full fare.

Report says fresh support of only Rs 12-13 lakh cr likely in stimulus
