does congress have money to buy these people… these celebs found a good opportunity to make hay while the sun shines
if you see the speeches of the celebs joining or supporting BJP mostly they say – I am inspired by Namo and want to work for the development of the country… same was said by rahul roy, biswajeet etc… where is rahul roy seen working for development of the country 
BJP has caught the pulse of the public and thats why this time its nationalism as one of the main point to win elections

Everything lies on PR
with good PR, you can even win the elections you don’t deserve (Not all scenarios) . And it happens with Films too, now that you get almost 80-90% collections within 2 weeks from film release (with few promotional songs/scenes)
People fall prey to promotions/gloating very easily and I must say BJP did a pretty good job this election ( PR, taking credit whatever ..). You can see clearly see the desperation of twitter/Insta celebs for promoting party of their choice (Ref: Cobra post). Just like for Politicians, there’s also blind backing for celebs in the name of “Fans”. I mean there are fans (male/female) who can say “Why can’t you take some domestic abuse from our favorite star instead of reactions/accusations” + have seen multiple women supporting one female indian actress just because she is a “Women”. They think She is empowering women so they want to support her no matter what and they don’t care even if she’s wrong, I was very surprised to even see them openly saying it. So celeb die-hard (blind) fans will become their supporters (especially youth like the article added)
I dunno if its because they were not in power or because they had nothing to sell, Congress did a shit job
Even here in DD, mostly you find people discussing/arguing on allegations against BJP/Represented candidates or something they have said in public meetings etc etc but when it comes to the opposition it has always been generic posts, probably which is why you can find many hidden agenda/propaganda posts
I feel even those allegations on selected BJP candidates helped them to stay relevant [ I know its a bad PR but still … ]
