1. They could have waived off electricity bill for March and April atleast.
2. Could have made the RICE and DAAL FREE.
3. Waiving off all Interest on ongoing personal loans, vehicle loans etc taken prior to Covid. (Of small business owners and low salaried people)

This things could have made the real difference instantly.
Does the 20Lac package excite you? Simply, a common man is worried more about survival, getting bread on time for his family rather than informed about buying local, special growth packages for startups, fancy schemes etc.
They could have just given money to the ppl. Like all the other countries doing, 2000 usd per family. doesnt have to be exact same amount, but something that ppl could actually live off in these times.

govt claimed a data about increase in employement because provident fund holders increased. use same epf and give 6 months salary (they are giving just 2500 crores out of 20 lac crores jumla in epf)
jandhan+bpl card holders getting dbt of 2500 minimum as rahul gandhi said, for 6 months. not that difficult for govt which was going for npr, nrc and caa nationwide.

mgnrega, congress ki vifalta ka jeeta jagta samarak, could be applied in urban india, given more funds thereby helping labours. build schools, hospitals or even statue but use scheme like mgnrega where it is required, now.
filling up posts, about 5 crores can be accomodated, via contract or direct entry. highly appreciated national exam scheme in bahi khata budget is missing since it was announced.
give real funds to smart cities so labours can be used in making these cities, for real.
stop giving loans so that people default and banking system collapse.
increase salary of grade 4 and women employees. reduce salary of grade 2 and 1 officers. whatever extra money will come, it will be wither spent or saved. koi apne sath upar nahi le jayega.

lastly, stop expenses. apni pr band karo, godi media ke ads band karo, meetings mein switzerland se aayi paani ki 2900 ki bottles band karo, har mp, mla ko 50000 rupye ki phone calls aur 1 lakh ka petrol band karo, govt officers ke saare perks jaise newspaper (7500), internet (10000), laundary (2000), cook (3000) and what not, sab band karo. bujurgo ne kaha hai, paisa kamane ke liye pehle bachana seekho.
lekin mitron, ye sab na bhi karenge to bhi tum vote to doge hi…..

Countries you are telling about, there population is less, poverty is less. Peoples pay their taxes and don’t do drama like tax nahin pay karenge, kagaz nahin dikhayenge and 10 bache paida karenge.
