I read your reply in the other thread regarding paypal. I suppose you don’t have credit card because otherwise getting paypal account would be easy. The only service via which you can buy stuff using indian debit cards or netbanking is ishopinternational.
Also note that ICICI bank’s debit card is an international debit card with which you can buy anything

Got another mail from grabmore stating they are awaiting shipment from Grabmore USA. Now the total days stand at 5.

Finally shipped from grabmore usa on the 6th day after ordering.

This is getting bad.. . Even after 15 days the product is yet to reach India.

Now this is the worst online purchasing experience for me. Even after 20 days, the product is yet to reach india.:-{ According to grabmore.in, the product shipped 14 days ago and is in transit to India. Never gonna buy another thing from them again. Other dimers with some experience, is it normal to take this long to ship to India?

Argh….this is really testing my patience…. Today I conducted a live chat with them and they keep repeating the same thing they said lasy week, that is please wait ‘one more’ week. According to them the product is arrived about ten days ago and yet to get customs clearence. This is what they said to me six days ago

Due to an inspection made by higher officials at Customs department, all the consignments which have been routed through Chennai are still held. It will be released only after 5-7 working days."

and now they saying the products will get clearence only by mid of next week and that’s more than 7 days…. Is it normal for customs to held a tablet like this? Please, I really need some advise from fellow dimers about what to do next…

this is problem with indian customs not with grabmore. be a little patient when ordering from abroad or order through international shipping delivery service like http://www.shopandship.com/defaul…px
ibhejo iccworld borderlinx etc.. even then shipping time will not be guaranteed inside India because the customs will hold for long time if its high value product. usually all the international shipments reach within a weeks time to India.

depends on the customs office. it can be quick or very late. you cant predict.

Finally got my product after a month’s wait. Everything except the long delay was fine.

Was also thinking of getting the nook hd plus after getting ur feedback about grabmore…. My bad, the price has increased now…. So will keep in hold and see….
