Moto G4 review after two months of use | Is this the best budget phone ever?

Moto g4 is the best budget smartphone right now. 2016 is coming to an end and phones like Redmi N3 and LeEco Le2 have competed with moto’s 4th generation smartphones. But I personally file that though this phone costs a little more than the other two out there, it is pretty much worth. I was also looking forward to lenovo zukz1, but the amazon reviews let me from doing that.

Second, I am extremely sorry for having unboxed the phone and not having recorded it. Someone was super excited so…… . Nevertheless, this comes in with turbo charge adapter, a micro USB cable, a earphone, user guide. Unfortunately, no silica gel.

This is phone has an elder brother, who showcases a slightly better camera and a fingerprint sensor. But I went for the cheaper version and it didn’t disappoint me. I wanted a phone that is good in camera and with design and this one tops the list.

It has got a beautiful design. the touch cornered with gorilla glass 3 feel buttery smooth. the round edges adds beauty to the camera. But the disappointing this all Moto phones come with same designs nowadays. the camera bumps out off the back with a flash beneath it. when placing the phone down, you can see the phone isn’t straight. The camera ineterface is big. Though initially disappointed with the camera, I got used to it. This is not a phone for people who love taking photos and are over enthusiastic Snapchat users. This is a phone for a student. Thee isn’t much of a difference between the brothers in day conditions, but of course the elder one wins during the night. You can take decent pictures with the camera. i personally don’t use them. I would always prefer another camera to take stable shots. Here are some of the video I have taken with the front facing camera. Anyways, this is the best camera in the range beating even Redmi note 3 and Le Eco 2. RATE 7

Performance. This is the best part. I am holding a 32GB/3GB ram model. It also comes in 16GB/2GB variant. You can check out the price by clicking on the link provided. The phones performance is as smooth as silk. But the problem here is it heats. with a usage for few minutes, it heats very badly. You might think heating is just going to alright, I will place the phone on the side for few minuted an it will be gone, but believe it is not like that. You cant play high graphic games for more than 20 minutes because of the issue. Even on normal usage of Facebook, twitter, the phone heats up to 40 degree celsius. Otherwise, there are no lags. Having used it for over two months, I haven’t experienced any. Rate 9

Battery. The full time battery on the Moto G4 lasts for about 4 hours. It is good for decent usage. There is nothing much to say as the phone is packed with a 3000 mAh battery. It may last even a day, but why worry. Because this phone supports turbo charge. Charge this phone for 15 minutes, and boost your battery by 30% percent. Rate 7

So In a final note. For the price I bought this phone, It is worth it. Even I would have loved a finger print sensor and an IR blaster. The gorilla Glass 3 makes my life. I have dropped this phone a dozen of times from different heights and angles, but it as good as a fresh phone. The phone’s could camera is the best in the range, but the heating issue and short battery is what bothers me. This is not a phone for travelers, the networks are average and with this battery life, duh! Business men looking for a side phone and students, this is a good game.
