Snapdeal lets me down once again! Never purchasing from Snapdeal again!

This is in regards to my order with Snapdeal – 1438998225, a Canon 600D. The item has been dispatched by the seller on the 21st Nov, full marks to him, and the receipt has been acknowledged by the Kanpur branch, Delhivery. The item is supposed to take route to the Delhi hub and subsequently to Chennai hub for delivery. But the status of the item has not changed since the 21st and it still shows item is at Kanpur. After repeated calls over the last few days to Delhivery I finally learnt that the item was dispatched from Kanpur to Delhi hub on the 21st, but apparently not reached Delhi as of today – which makes it 5 full days of transit. Makes me think the item is missing?

I called the Snapdeal customer care yesterday to lodge a complaint. The complaint has been taken and assurance was given that it will be delivered by today (27th) evening. Delivery of a missing item, I don’t know how! I also wanted to check what the refund policy is, for which the Customer care executive replied that he cannot cancel the order while the item was in transit (fair enough?!) and can cancel only if I return the item (return back the item which is lost in transit, which I haven’t even received in the first place!!). Makes me wonder how!

Now since the item is a camera, a delicate item to be handled with care, especially the SLRs, I am not sure what handling the item is receiving, makes me wonder if I should accept the item in the first place.

I called Delhivery and Snapdeal today and got their standard reply “Wait for 48 hours”. I have heard the same reply starting Monday and I’m sure they wouldn’t change their answer even after 48 days!

I got pissed today and posed on their official facebook page hoping some sense would prevail on a social networking site where everyone would see the obvious.

A reason to move on to ecommerce sites like Flipkart which has better logistics? Only time will tell!

Same happened to me with the Logitech Wireless Keyboard, where the courier DELHIVERY delivered the courier somewhere else and marked the item as “delivered” . I have been chasing up with Snapdeal for almost 10 days through emails and calls and till date except their generic reply of “We’ ll get back to you in 48 hours" there is no other update. The fact is that these dogs don’t even get back to us in after 4 days, post reporting the issue.

Snapdeal ranks no. 1 in Cheating these days.

Just Google about complaints on Snapdeal and trust me, you’ll find most of the complaints for them.
From being one of the best companies when started, they have become the WORST now, that too when expanded

Its just 5 days, their are websites/couriers that take almost 20 days to deliver products, just have some patience when you shop online, just wait for 7-8 days. Even reputed couriers like FedEX and BlueDart have taken more than 15 days to deliver my products previously. Until and unless it shows delivered on courier website you can be rest assured that you can get refund if it is not delivered.

Agreed. I am ready to wait for the delivery as long as the item is safe and in transit. The statement from the Delhivery customer care is that “The package should have reached Delhi hub few days back and we do not know why it hasn’t reached”. They aren’t sure where the package is and that is my concern. It’s not the first time I am shopping online, I do most of my purchases online so I know how it works. In fact I do not usually track my purchases like this. Just because I needed this camera for a trip to Bandipur (excitement of a new camera – hope most of you guys would have) tomorrow evening I was tracking this from the day Snapdeal said it was shipped. I started worrying only when the status did not change from “Received in Kanpur – in transit” for 2 days. It’s in the same status till date. And to top all that the courier guys do not know the status themselves and do not know where the package is! Reason to worry?

As quoted in the title this is the second big purchase that Snapdeal has let me down. My previous let down was an order for a washing machine which was never shipped. I had to wait for 2 extensions before the cancelled my order and subsequently refunded after more than a month or 40 days, which i don’t remember correctly.

In snapdeal company, robots are working. they have not mind and soul. Even their MD calls himself as MASTERMIND. Just see their management team. They have no responsibility. i had my worst online shopping experience with them. I abused them a lot then they listened to me and refunded my money. After my incident they framed a policy called TRUSTPAY. this is copy of ebay’s paisapay but the conditions are still against customers. We should raise our voice against snapdeal.com and alert others.

None of the courier companies in India (even Bluedart,Fedex etc) has a well defined tracking system..
This is one of the main reasons why ecommerce companies sucks as they cannot do anything unless the logistics backbone is stubborn..
I wonder why these stupid investros are pouring in money to all ecommerce sites without having a vision to first setup a stubborn logistics network in India where anybody will be able to know where the package is at any time from the moment the same has been picked up..
Technology has improved a lot and still i dont know why these “so called investors” doesnt even think about this…

Even this happened to me..I ordered Gillette blade and used a 38Rs item as filler for avoiding shipping charges..

my advice to sidswani is that if you have made payment via credit card, then write a email to credit card company requesting them to stop payment to snapdeal. Trust me it works. Your money will be safe. Just narrate all to them and also email the order copy.

I agree SnapDeal sucks big time..

I also had a very bad experience with them when they didn’t process my cashback of INR 2500/- and they still haven’t processed yet.

I have stopped ordering from SnapDeal all together…

banning a site without buying product from them is not the solution.
we have to teach them lesson for all time, like I do 3 times with them.

ordered 3-4k or more than that on COD and when courier boy came to you for delivery, refuse to take it and return it, by smartly saying i dont need this product any more.

Im also faced same issues with snapdeal. I order Laptop & they provided a unknown waybill no of Delhivery. Then i called customer care (SNAPDEAL). Answer from SNAPDEAL: Bcoz of the technical issue, they are unable to send the item to me. https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif .:lol: But we hv think b4 buying from SNAPDEAL.

I can’t say about Snapdeal as I haven’t purchased anything from them yet. But I have done Online Shopping with other websites like Myntra, D2H Shop and Junglee. I don’t face any concern about the product. The product was same which is portrayed on the website, delivery time is short. So, try out other website as well.

They have robotic attitude. What ever be your question, Reply will be the same. One medicine for all troubles. Bought over 25,000 of computer accessories. Had some issue of late shipping. When ever contacted got the same reply to treat it as an exception and sought a three day extension for shipping of the product. I feel that there is zero communication between snapdeal and those who sell on snapdeal. Even snapdeal doesn’t have a clear picture of its sellers. Very pathetic for an eCommerce site.

Hi buyer never purchase any thing from snap deal they are not provide right product . if you order shoes they provide you another shoes that is even used . Here is my order id 19070582091.Here is image.http://prntscr.com/...qp

They waste time as well money because if price of product is increase they send you footpath product and do auto return order , while product is available on the website.

When you call they don’t give valid reason why they haven’t do replacement.

Please i am requested to all buyer don’t purchase anything from the snapdeal they make fool.
