Think Twice Before Buying from Paytm Shop ???

They are new and making lot of mistakes.

I had a mishap happen to me also. I contacted them via facebook and they have solved it now. I have no misgivings now, but i will go back there after some time only …when they have stabilized.

i did ordered shoes of bata from paytm, which were priced at 1049,and when i received shoes, the mrp was showing to be 999.
so i was sold shoes at price of more than mrp.

when followed up with customer care, said we will get back to you.

I made a recharge and didn`t get balance for the same , so i complained about it , all they said was it shows success in their system so can`t help.

Very poor service.

mistake is something that is “not” wilful.
and even pinning it on vendor (standard practice by marketplace websites) does not give solace to aggrieved party [who selects the vendor? the site does. most vendors are actually just the site by another name]

@born_legend: recently another user goss approached me for my crooked mind (data mining help) to reach croma etcetera. so also i will try looking into how Larrylevines’ yebhi saga can be sorted.
but still posting it in this section (hot deals) will open the flood gates that will make Mods life more erratic and people agitating with same ‘demands’ of posting in this section.

the day i first tried to look up paytm and realised they have restrictive support access (no phone); i was on alert and kept my distance. [they are not a ‘brand’.. uber too are restrictive, but they are established]

for people like you/ users with urgent paytm issues i made a rare exception of posting links to direct contact details [i have refrained from even replying to GOSS8877’s thread and deleted my posts there]

but looking at paytm antics; can request you to learn the tricks if not already got: use LinkedIn to find names; use search engines to find formats of email addresses, verify if address is bouncing or not [http://verify-emai…g/ bouncing mostly means address is not live]

i had ordered a 32 gb pen drive usb 2.0 from paytm shop but i received 16gb usb 3.0, i tried to return it once but all in vein.

but as price different was not much so i ignored it.

Guys i purchased from payTM shop and got cashback of more than 700 or something (multiple orders).

The site is good for getting cashback and using it for recharges and stuff, and the prices are somewhat same as other sites.

But problem is their customer care service, they dont have a phone no. They clearly dont want anyone getting help otherwise is it really hard to setup a phone help service?

Anyways my case was a jeans that i ordered was not a good fit, so i applied for refund. When u apply for refund you can never get cashback. So my cashback is gone obiviously but i thought it was only fair as they are gonna refund for the product.

But after numerous mails nothing. They told they will send a courier guy but no one called or came yet. Iam pissed of at their customer care service.

So when buying from their site please be advised. but i did enjoy recharges worth 700 for my postpaid bills.

In the description it was clearly mentioned that item cannot be returned. So I kept distance.

You can give complaint. There is a separate department that handles complaints regarding MRP. Suggest you take this with Bata also.

PayTm is the worst site from my experiance:evil:

I feel, I should also cancel my order.. its too risky to buy anything from paytm

they resolved my issue (delivered to some one else )after posting at their fb page 5 times, mailing them about 5 times
some buddy called and i shouted at him..then issue was taken seriously

canceling d refund of money direct to ur mode of payment r only to paytm cash. having in paytm cash s waste.!!!!!!!

i was hoping to buy from paytm.thank god my….:-} money saved.

I must say their after sales service is just pathetic. There is only one way to communicate with them that is “email”. If you are lucky, they will respond in 2-3 Days. There is no exchange policy on clothing and I am still waiting for refund for the item which I returned on Jul-1. I ordered a leather belt and too my surprise, It was completely different than what was shown on the order page.

You can not even track your request on http://paytm.zende…om as they have intentionally disabled the access to the site.

Thanks guys for the heads up. I’m glad i too restrained myself from buying.
Paytm at the time is good only for recharges.

I’ve also had issues with the site.

Last month I purchased some stuffs under the 40% cashback coupon schemes.

Initially I had the issue of payment failures since the verified by visa page was loading inside the paytm website itself, even the url was paytm’s. It would eventually fail giving error message “method not permitted”.
Lost some 40% cashback paid coupons I purchased from their website.
Informed the customer care through mail and reply received was funny; "_I am Kushank and I will do my best to work with you to resolve your query._

I understand that you would like to know when the product ordered by you would be shipped.

This particular product will be shipped within 2 days. We will send you a confirmation email once it is dispatched."

This month none of the coupons received in my registered mail id is working; getting error please enter a valid promotional or voucher code.
Put several mails, even sent them screenshots of the same. Been 3 weeks no resolution.
Customer care is pathetic.Another important thing is the packing of the shipment; Placed and received 6 orders – None had any bubble wrapper or additional wrapping apart from the shipment plastic bag.

I really hope they have a CUSTOMER CARE soon

Yes, I had… twice… luckily. BTW, packaging was horrible. The Micromax logo & everything else were visible from outside. I made a video while unpacking the whole thing.

They won’t be able to handle such volumes as they don’t have the mechanism to cross-verify your orders.

They have started this venture very amateurishly.

But my Safetykart experience was good.

Even Flipkart in its early days was good.

The problem is with marketplace model which has no control over the sellers selling fake/duplicate/refurbished items.

i also suggest don’t go to buy from PAYTM SHOP.Only try to buy items below 200 rupees ,Because they try to make amount into their paytm recharge account.

I think they cheated the people who try to buy from PAYTM.
