Yesterday i add bing Freecharge Freefund code and recharge my mobile with that amount after some time i received some msgs from my icici bank about amount purchase on flipcart and oxigen
and my 4000+1452 was stolen from my bank acoount
after that i block my debit card
my debit card data was stolen from my fc account that perticular card was saved in that ac which i made rech ( but i only one time used that card in july 2016)
Sooo guyzzz plz remove your Card from fc account which is stored on freecharge….

sht i just read another article here regarding phishing attack on freecharge.
i think you should lodge a complaint.
btw how do they manage otp or pin??

As told by some bankers to me, some new kind of hack in place where if last 4 digit and validity of the card is known to scammer, he can generate the cvv.
One of my relative got robbed by exact 4,9999/- by a tele call, originating from Bihar. He was sure he did not disclose the CVV yet transaction was cleared in 10 mins after the call.

The scammer had his Aadhar card no, on this pretext he was able to get the debit card no and validity details.

Not asking about visa or mastercard, i am asking about the name of card. like Coral, rubyx, silver, smart shopper but don’t worry, every icici card has 0 liability protection any transaction done at stores will come under it, transactions done on ATM machine didn’t come under this.

Only purchases at stores using the ICICI Bank Debit Card are covered under this feature. Transactions conducted at an ATM or online using the Debit Card are not covered under this feature, as both these transaction types require your PIN.

may bad thing is that i have made that fc id with gmail dot trick…so can msg it a better manner
if that particular card is from icici then nothing to worry about, just register your complaint in police station and then take a copy of that FIR to the nearest icici branch. they will Chargeback/restore your card amount. ICICI Bank provides fraud protection for its debit cards upto 15 days from the fraud.
