I have bought a Ray-Ban Green Aviator Sunglasses (RB3025 L0205 58-14) from SnapDeal last month. Received product was looking almost ok, but the plastic part of the leg was loose and that made me suspicious. Upon closer inspection, I have found that there is a spelling mistake on the leg, it was printed as AVATOR instead of AVIATOR. It can happen only on a fake item.Secondly seller shipped RB3026 instead of RB3025 which is a larger variant.
Fortunately, I bought this item to gift it to someone, so I didn’t remove any seal or sticker of the product or accessories. So when I have reported these issues to SnapDeal, they have verified and accepted the return and took the item back. But after few days, they came back saying that the item passes their QC and it is a genuine item so I will have to accept it. The email looks like from a template rather than someone actually written it with manual effort. I was shocked with the response and send the macro photograph which shows the spelling mistake and the video I have captured initially as a proof. After few days, they send me back the same templated reply which I had received earlier. Either they are not verifying the proof which I had sent and using some kind of automated replys to consumers. I am totally frustrated with SnapDeal support team and will never order any product from them. Also I am not going to accept the fake item, so I have raised a dispute through my credit card processor and waiting for their response.

Avoid him if you find him on other market places like Amazon, FlipKart or eBay. But I am sure if similar situation happens on those platforms, we will get a better customer support.
I will never use snapdeal again and not recommended for any one else.
Update: On September 9th snapdeal send an email apologizing for the mistake from their end and promised a refund within 7 days. Now it is almost two months, but still waiting for the refund.
