This deal baba pop up is annoying ?
In mobile site .. it covers lots of space .. that pop up thing is kinda annoying .. the icon on the side of notification is good.. just a suggestion decrease the size of that pop up if possible

I wonder if they ever check the features before rolling them out. 
Not everyone roams around with a Mac up their (laptop) sleeve, Mr. admin. There are people who surf DD on a 4" mobile screen as well.

Seems like @admin has already disabled the hover popups for the menu on the mobile website (atleast for iPads). As for the Deal Baba popup, I discovered a workaround to get rid of it — simply click on the username dropdown at the top right corner. 
@Spock There is no “X” on the iPad for the hover popups. Even imagining to be at the top-right corner and tapping there like you suggested doesn’t do anything.

Yes, I think they have temporarily disabled the main menu popups/links completely for the mobile website until they fix the persistent popup issue.
in so far as i know, only karma begging is not allowed (but sometimes that too is tolerated or allowed to pass)

these hover menus are one of the other main grouse for me . (selfish, personal view)
i did not want to make my private notif data public and did not get the time to mask the names, so never made it known earlier http://ultraimg.com/images/2016/06/26/aila_wher...
but this gives some idea of home much the hover menu (specifically the Price Comparison tab) intrudes on the work space 
and can easily be the most obstructing thing in case of a jumpy touchpad or mouse or on a cluttered desk where the cursor may accidentally shift if the mouse gets pushed unintentionally.
