Amazon Prime Video is one of the most popular video streaming platforms in India as of now and the reason is simple, its huge arsenal of endless content that is way more interesting than many other video streaming apps. This time around, Amazon has come up with its Amazon Prime Lite subscription plan that costs Rs 999 yearly, which makes it the cheapest Amazon Prime subscription plan that can be used on mobile and TV too. In this article, we will discuss everything about this latest Amazon Prime plan.
New Amazon Prime Lite Beta Launched at Rs 999: Stream Videos, Get Cashback & More
The latest Amazon Prime Lite Subscription Plan is still under beta development and right now, it is available to a few selected users only. Many Amazon Prime users have started getting notifications regarding the same Rs 999 Amazon Prime plan.
Unlike the previously launched Amazon Prime Mobile Subscription Plan, the Prime Lite plan can be used on an Android TV and a mobile phone too. Though, it still lacks many benefits that you may get with the Amazon Prime basic subscription plan. For instance, you get free same-day delivery with the original Amazon Prime, right? But in the Prime Lite plan, you get free two-day and standard delivery; though both these things are not available in the mobile edition.
Moreover, the Amazon Prime subscription plan lets you stream content on mobile, TV, and laptop in HD or even UHD. But in the Prime Lite plan, you can stream content in SD quality only and that too on mobile and TV, no laptops. For more information, refer to the pictures given below:
As of now, the Amazon Prime Lite plan is under Beta testing. Thus, it may not be available for all Prime users. So if you want access to this latest and cheapest Amazon Prime plan, you may have to wait and see if you get selected by Amazon.

It makes sense to buy lite.. they removed most features that I don't use
- same-day delivery / one-day delivery is anyway a gimmick. they do deliver within 1 day if there is a possibility of doing that and always take more than 2 days for far away places.
- Not a fan of prime video/music anyway -Stremio rocks
- free ebooks/games - lol. gimmick again
Not sure what "additional no-cost" EMI means.

For 500, there are lots of downgrades, specially when there's no music, ad supported video, they shouldnt restrict video quality to SD only. On most tvs, sd quality video would be horrible.

Prime video doesn't work on laptop!
Waste plan,it's good for ~800 for people who use apay ICICI card and never watch prime video,play games,and listen music.
For others better go with 1500 plan

It would be great if they come with super lite plan for Rs.499/ year or less which gives free shipping and 5% cashback on Amazon cards. That's all I need
