As per sources, it is also said that the state-owned telecom company, BSNL is also planning to launch its 4G services soon in the next upcoming months.

This prepaid plan is certainly not suited for everyone. However if you have high-data consumption and are looking for long-term validity on a prepaid plan, then this BSNL Rs.2022 prepaid plan can be something to consider. Apart from this, the telecom brand has also launched 2 more data prepaid plans. One of which costs Rs.228 and offers unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS/day, 2GB data per day limit and another one which costs Rs.239 which includes all the previously mentioned benefits plus a Rs.10 talktime.

All companies pushing their 1 year plan, something big is coming (Jio 5G) Maybe they can give free 3 months 5g like they did with 4g?

It would be great if they do. However, I think the possibility of an operator giving a 5G plan free for 3 months is unlikely as 5G technology is quite expensive to deploy and even most good 5G phones are on the expensive side today. But then looking at the past marketing strategies of brands like Jio, anything could happen.

What happened to 4g in BSNL (not going to ask 5g)? Once upon a time, BSNL was in profit company with good service. Now why bsnl is getting killed in it's own market....

If government let bsnl work, how jio will progress?
how "Money-Makers" will built?
How "Money-Makers"  will buy operating-loss-making company for low price? (with this, multi billion land owned by BSNL in all prime locations also goes with buyer)

To be able to sell Air India, you need to make it sick.
To be able to sell BSNL, they are doing the same...

If you calculate on average this plan gives you 2.5gb data per day basis. Bsnl should have announced unlimited data on this plan. Azadi ka amrit mahotsav but no unlimited data. Just unlimited talktime.

Hey @KrSb0lZv, that's a valid point. Actually, the data provided is unlimited if we talk technically.

For example, you can use even more than 2.5 GB of data per day. However, the data speed would be capped if you cross the monthly limit making the internet a bit laggy and apparently of not much use.

So yes, practically it is not "unlimited" as you rightly pointed out but technically it is sort of.. Thank you for your comment anyway. We hope you are enjoying our site😊

using BSNL since last 10 years, there is always network issue + internet doesn't work the way it should. Having wifi all the time at home and not that need to make/receive calls bsnl serves the best purpose, getting it recharged with 1year plan every time to keep number alive.

my wifi had issue for few days so i thought of using mobile data and filed a complaint at https://consumerhelpline....in bsnl headcontacted me few days back (before government announced package for reviving bsnl), he said, "Sir even we face bsnl network issue and use other operator's simcard, the real issue is that we don't have enough funds to maintain even batteries at towers and upgrade infrastructure".

hoping that after the package BSNL will perform better in its domain.
