The Indian government has continuously been working to aid sectors facing challenges for revenue growth and cost reduction. One of the key reforms proposed last year was the corporate tax rate cut.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the NDA government's ninth budget in the Lok Sabha at 11 am. While Sitharaman has declared a Budget like "never before", PM Modi has said the idea is to increase the measures announced in "4-5 mini budgets in 2020" amid the pandemic.

However, the experts and businesspeople believe more changes should be made to raise the economic extension to its potential as the government has planned to reach the $5 trillion mark by 2024.

Since the economic growth has delayed to just 5% in the current FY, all eyes will be on Nirmala Sitharaman on the day of the Union Budget 2021.

In her initial words, FM Sitharaman said Budget 2021 was prepared in "unprecedented times." She also acknowledged the essential workers who proceeded to serve the country amid the lockdown.
