Realme has officially announced its Realme 10 Pro 5G series launch date in India as the 8th of December. The same lineup earlier saw smartphones like Realme 8 and 9 series. The Realme 10 Pro series is expected to be the best and most different from its predecessors. Why, do you ask? For starters, the Realme 10 Pro Plus comes with a curved AMOLED 120 Hz display and the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor. Moreover, Realme's Vice President Mr. Madhav Sheth has hinted that the Realme 10 Pro+ will be priced below Rs 25,000 in India. Here are full details of the Realme 10 5G series release in India.

Realme 10 Pro 5G Series India Launch

Realme is one of the biggest brands in the Indian smartphone market and it has launched a huge number of smartphones that have created a loyal customer base for the brand. Though, the most successful series for the brand has been its Realme GT and Realme 8/9 lineups. But this time around, Realme plans on literally shaking the smartphone market with its Realme 10 Pro+ smartphone that would launch soon in India.

As much as the Realme 10 Pro Plus seems to be a great update over the Realme 9 Pro Plus that came earlier this year, the Realme 10 Pro 5G may disappoint many tech enthusiasts. So, let’s take a closer look at the Realme 10 Pro 5G series and its launch in India this December.

Realme 10 Pro 5G Series Launch Date in India

As evident from the banner on Realme’s official website, the Realme 10 Pro series would launch on 8 December in India. This series includes two smartphones from the brand, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G, and the Realme 10 Pro 5G. Both these smartphones would go on sale in December on their launching date.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G series was launched recently in China too and now it has made its way to India, where users have been waiting for the Realme 10 Pro Plus smartphone ever since we got leaks of it having a curved display.

Let’s talk more about both these smartphones and their specs too.

Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G Price in India and Specifications: Realme 10 Pro+ at ₹25,000

Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G Curved Display

The Realme 10 Pro Plus was launched in China at a price of CNY 1,699. When we convert this price to INR, it would give you around ₹19,500. So, would the Realme 10 Pro Plus come under Rs 20,000 in India? Probably not; we have seen how Realme smartphones cost more in India than in China, thanks to some taxes and customs duties. So, you should expect the Realme 10 Pro+ to cost around Rs 25,000 in India.

But don’t worry, the smartphone is still an absolute banger with its specs even around that price. The Realme 10 Pro Plus mobile phone would come with a curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Also, this will be the first smartphone in India with the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. This processor is an upgrade to the MediaTek Dimesity 1000 chip and a direct competitor to the Snapdragon 778G chipset.

Update: Mr. Madhav Sheth, Realme's Vice President, has confirmed that the price of Realme 10 Pro+ in India would be less than Rs 25,000. Here is his tweet for the same:

Realme 10 Pro 5G Launch in India

The Realme 10 Pro 5G mobile phone may not be that big of an update to its predecessor as it comes with the same Snapdragon 695 processor and a 120 Hz LCD display. The only upgrade is its 108 MP primary camera, which again is paired with a not-so-useful 2MP depth sensor.

Just like the 10 Pro Plus, this mobile phone also comes with a 16MP selfie camera and Android 13 out of the box.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G smartphone would cost around Rs 19,500 in India, which may not be so appealing considering the specifications of the device.

10 pro plus will surely go above 25000...currently 9 pro plus is selling at 24999...which makes it useless.. Only curved display is the usp.... There are better phones in 25-30 range....

I would say that's debatable. If the display's quality is good enough, that phone would be the best display smartphone under 30K. And in India, users have been searching for curved display phones under 30K for a very long time.

Also, it has the MTK Dimensity 1080 chip, which is comparable to SD 778G and that's acceptable in this price range. (not for someone like me who would prefer performance over everything else, but it would be good enough for most users)

Lastly, the Realme 9 Pro Plus was said to be one of the best camera phones in its price range. If the 10 Pro Plus manages to give a better camera output, it will make a great overall package.

Till 3 days ago xiaomi 11t pro with sd 888 was at 24000 with all offers ... I missed it  in my overthinking... Its a way better phone.... Even poco f4 with 870 is way better... 870 is still better than meditek 1080...
Only usp would be a curved display and a bit of good camera....

Things wrong with Mi and POCO phones:
  • MIUI
  • SD 870 is an old processor now, so it may not be compatible with future software updates, so those phones with SD 870 would get lesser OTA updates.
  • SD 888 heats a lot, pair it with MIUI and you have a handheld heater😂...jk
Just the MIUI is enough to become a deal breaker and these phones, as of now, do not make much sense.
But yeah, the Realme 10 Pro Plus can be compared to Xiaomi Redmi K50i (Dimensity 8100), Motorola Edge 30 (Stock Android and all 5G bands), Oneplus Nord 2T, iQOO 9 SE (costs a bit more)

Yes k50i is a beast. Just lcd is the deal braker.... I dont like realme phones for the fact.. They hardly have any custom rom support..... Xiaomi phones has.. Evn the flagships  have good support... U can get rid of miui on day 1.....hardware is top notch... 11t pro has 888 but xiaomi has done lot of tweakings.. Plus it has liquid cooling... Plus.. Its a multimedia heaven.... Dolby atmos, hdr, 10bit panel, dolby vision plus Harman kardon speakers.... No phones has all in 1 in them....

Moto edge 30 battery is just too less... I had 11lite ne 5g...it had 4500 mah battery with same processor... I had to charge twice a day...... These 5g phones are power hungry... U need atleast 5000 mah

And one plus is not the OnePlus anymore ...........

Agreed! Xiaomi phones are great for custom ROM installations.
But the only problem is that 99% of users in India don't even know what a custom ROM is, right?
And yup, 11T Pro is a great phone indeed if the software update is not a problem for you. Though, I would say that 'liquid cooling' is just a gimmick in many smartphones. I have used the 11T Pro (just played a few games) and boy does it heat.

But yeah, that battery problem in Moto Edge 30 and OnePlus not being OnePlus is 100% correct. Even now, we do not have a perfect phone under 30K, though these brands are asking us for an amount that is way more than the income of many individuals here.

11t pro will get till android 14 officially.... And these days.... Very less phones are there which dont heat.... Mediatek phones are very lot..... In comparison to snapdragons.....

For me the deal breaker with Realme phones 9 and after, it that they do not have automatic call recording. Every time you try to record some call, there is a loud pre-recorded announcement. Realme had this feature till the X50 Pro, which is a wonderful phone that I use. Unfortunately now all Realme phones are without this important facility.

Now you can get auto call recording on realme phones too by installing one plus contacts app. Version is 4.5.59. I am using it on my Realme 7 pro.

This problem is common in many other brands as well, thanks to Google Dialer. As far as I know, Samsung and Xiaomi phones let you record a call without any such announcement. And some phones from Vivo too, I guess.
