You missed my point, perhaps. We should not be required to visit any branch, according to their terms promised. It does not matter even if it is next door. I would stand by my point even the branch here helped me to get my card activated.

I agree to your point. Their after sales have always sucked.. It took me about a month to get virtual card login activated for my CC..
But at the same time, I have ordered about 6-8 axis prepaid cards so far (all from Amazon).. Almost all of them were 5k cards.. Only 1 was 10k card (another lightening deal).. All of them were preactivated.. I wanted to give them this chance.. Besides the branch was on my way to work.. So its okay..
Never ending Axis Gift Card problems. I used half of my balance in the gift card and now it’s locked. When I login to the prepaid card account on Axis Bank site and check for “Card Lock/Unlock” it shows “Card Status” as “Locked” and “New Card Status” as “Active”! Don’t understand why it suddenly got unlocked this way and what all I need to do to get it unlocked.
Can you update the title to expired?..I’m opening this multiple times to find that it is the same thread expired a month back

Did you register it for VBV? I have been trying to register one of my cards for VBV and I keep getting “unable to authenticate, request timed out” message. I have trying since Sunday, june 14th.

No I did not try that ..I generally do that while making any purchase only … I only logged in using the userid and password and it was showing the balance of 2K.

What error are you getting? I am trying to make the prepaid card morons understand that “request timed out” implies an error on Axis site.
I have replied to them for the third time today and will keep you updated as to what they say tomorrow.
If this does not work I will send an email to my local branch with the screen shot of the error and hopefully they can get in touch with someone technically sound who can understand and try to resolve “request timed out” error.

Please send an email to [email protected] with a screen shot of the error stating that you cannot register for Verified By Visa because of timeout error. Hopefully if they get a couple of emails they will understand and forward/escalate the issue to their tech team.

Sent mail . Axis bank gift card has been biggest pain I ever experienced while buying anything online…If they don’t fix the issue in next 2-3days then I would file a complaint with RBI against Axis and Amazon both …
There was some issue yesterday. Axis bank site said “backend error” when I tried to login with my card details. After a while it said “invalid login credentials”. Then later after an hour or so I could login and I tried to change by VbV password by making a transaction but got “request timed out” error. And on top of this, my “card status” shows “locked” whereas “new card status” shows “active”. Worst experience.
