Yes so true. Why do people hate India post so much? For many it is the only last mile delivery option available. Right now amazon service is more of a beta stage and stop cribbing about something which you have not paid for. Once you start paying for their service you have all rights to hold them responsible. In fact amazon is responsible for reviving India post by making them one of their delivery partners and India Post has met the expectations.

Like I said, Prime in India will not be as good as in US. I ordered some products with Prime shipping and they are reaching me in 6-7 days. The only difference probably is that shipping charges of 40 rupees are waived off.

I placed an order thrice on Amazon.in all the three orders delhivery was the delivery team.they didn’t delivered the product.they didn’t even called me once.they returned the products stating the. Reason that additional address details required.Does anyone else face such issues with delhivery delivery team.pls.reply.contacted Amazon c care and they were not ready to help.everytime they wr saying that they are escalating the issue.

No problem. Delivery is not fast, but always received the items.

I’ve had a very bad experience with Delhivery. They called me to ask if i could pick the stuff from their delivery hub – I said i couldn’t since the order was from Super Value day – big box of groceries. After delivery was delayed for many days, called up Amazon Customer service and informed – the next day my goods were delivered.
However, the box was badly damaged, and some of the contents were damaged so bad that edibles were scattered out. Amazon Customer service again, assured me they’ll ship the damaged goods again for free, this time with a different partner – India Post.
And so i finally got my goods through India Post – I wouldn’t rate them as good as BlueDart in terms of handling of goods, but they’re much better than the likes of Delhivery, Aramex and others.
Thanks to all who replied and helped me.people who face the Sam issue with DELHiVeru should register a complaint so that Amazon could do something about it.its my request to you all.

India Post is not bad especially for SpeedPost. They deliver much faster than most couriers. I’ve tested this when I sent a HDD to Arunachal Pradesh & it took 5 days to deliver but another HDD to Dehradun by DTDC took 7 days… Both shipped one day apart.

speedpost is 100% better and quicker, only thing is bubble wrap should be good, amazon once sent me induction oven without bubble wrap and it was broken, though without bubble wrap chance of breaking with all couriers. But thanks to speedpost i got online stuff during my rural posting faster than i get them at kolkata
