WAIT LET ME CHECK WHEN I SENT THE MAIL AND RECEIVED THE SMS : I had sent email and called on 4th sept, later followed up twice by call…received sms for activation yesterday night

this error was coming when my card was not activated….

did it got unblocked? I am facing issue for my 2 cards. The GCI call centre says its activated but when i use it on shmart wallet it says the card is blocked contact axis cc.
Wen i contact axis cc they say the card is not funded or activated yet contact the card issuer. Pathetic

1. Yes, The card will be unblocked after 24 hours automatically.
2. Dont use the card until you get an SMS from Axis that your account is credited with Rs.XXXX. This is the preferred way to not get your card get blocked.
Edit: Better try to add the card to VBV Account only after 3 business days to check whether your card is activated or not if you dont receive any SMS
3. GCI might have told you that your card is processed from their end and it will be activated in 3 business days. So better to wait for that SMS instead of trying multiple times and blocking that card

Bro … i had placed the activation request more than 10 days ago. After seeing some dimers use the card successfully without sms…i also tried…for few cards it worked…but for two of them its giving error….i tried using them after 48 hrs…still i face the same issue…the GCI customer care says they have activated and axis bank says its not fudned yet.i am not going to buy these gc again >.<

My card is one among that and you are the other two guys… they will try to activate it once again today, and if it fails then they will send a pre-activated card again itseems… i have saved the chat history and will contact them again on monday to check the status.. will update you guys after i hear from them..

Now Paytm has added an additional code…Initially we had used AXIS3 (in description it was mentioned as axs3)….Now they created another promo with axs3……You can use both on same account which means 3% discount can be availed again (on same accounts)

PS: Not sure if this is an already known info….

EDiT: I was just looking at that card on paytm and was thinking of asking my cousin to buy for me from his acct. I saw the two codes but didn’t pay attention and didn’t notice the different codes.

Seems this one doesn’t have one time restriction (however quantity =1 )….atleast so far…

They seems too lazy and careless.
Too much delay.

Hmm. I had followed up with them and my card got activated yesterday. I got some more cards now. Have to follow up and get them activated. It would have been better if they have preactivated and sent to us similar to amazon orders. Now a days we don’t see amazon offers for axis cards, so we have to face this if we need to get some discount using paytm.

Just chat with the customer support.. John from customer support is responding to queries very quickly and resolving the issues.. if they are unable to activate your card, they will send you a new card.. thats what he said when i faced similar issue…

But it’s frustrating to spend time for activating 1000 rs card. I though it will be easy was converting paytm cash to card.

hmm.. we have to bear that if we had to save some bucks… i have ordered around 30k worth GVs and saved around 2500 by going through affiliate links and using kotak 5% cashback to load money to wallet.. even if it takes a couple of days to get activated, i am fine with that…
