mine is “WAITING COURIER PICKUP”
are there any chances it will get cancelled?

Sure, it’s quite possible. Some of my Paytm orders were cancelled even after the status showed “Shipped” (not for the Axis cards though). Four of my orders placed on the 24th and yesterday have been shipped already and the cashback has also been credited.

GCI sells PRe-activated cards ? Like amazon
No, you will have to email or call them after you receive the card. They will then activate the card within 24-48 hours. It’s pretty hassle free and you at least have a clear way of ensuring card activation, unlike the orders from Amazon. CC @ai9

I have received my Axis cards ordered under this deal from Paytm. GCI is sending old stock with expiry of 04/16. But this is not a big deal as most people would utilize their cards within a month.

Mine are still in transit from Mumbai as per the last update in the morning. So I will probably receive them by Monday. Did you contact GCi for the activation?

Sent an email right before creating the previous post and have already received a human response confirming that the activation request will be processed in two days. This is as per their regular process as you probably know already.

You learn something new everyday. Is it just SBi or are there any other CCs which allow payment using DCs? AFAiK, most banks allow payments via only net banking.

Netbanking is fine. Paying CC bill using DC is new to me.

You must have received a paper card in the package that contains details about the activation process. If not, see this: http://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online...
You need to send them your card number(s) and a phone number to get the card activated. It takes 2 working days at the most after your request is received by them via an email (preferable for records) or a phone call. CC @witty
@1cooldesidd Keep me in the loop as and when you discover more of such “interesting” things.
