BTW, in pharma business the actual cost of making medicine is low very low – manufactures sell drugs to wholesale dealers at 15 to 50% lower than the MRP price indicated. Local chemist gives 10% discount to me and if I go to the wholesaler I get 15 to 20% discount on MRP. Think of Big Chemist as very big wholeseller who is getting medicines directly from the manufacturer. Remember Bigchemist is charging you for shipping – so that are not making big losses. They may not be making profit
