Match begins at 1500 hrs
Rules for the match is as follows.
Strategy
Rules for match
- Admin team will announce one product category in the main contest thread, each team has to select five stores withing 5 minutes, after which the Admin will release the product.
- Each team will get 25 minutes to find the cheapest product from only the 5 stores which the team has selected. Time starts as soon as the product is posted.
- Editing your thread or posts is not allowed. If you find a better deal/coupon, please comment in your contest thread as a fresh post.
- Links/Sites where the product is out of stock will not be considered as an valid entry.
- The product has to be from an Indian site (international sites shipping products to India wont be considered).
- Coupons can be applied, but these coupons can not be one time coupon codes of other coupon/affiliate sites, cant be bank specific coupon codes, Signup/registration coupons will be allowed.
- Entries containing final price after cashback will not be considered valid
- If the deal is from eBay, seller rating less than 50 will not be allowed (unless it is promoted by eBay itself).
- Deals/Coupons from sites which are banned on DesiDime won’t be allowed in the contest.

- If the product page does not categorically say it is seller warranty it will be considered as manufacturer warranty
- Other Terms & Conditions will be notified simultaneously with the products.

- Each team will get 15 minutes/game (total 45 minutes) to find the cheapest product.Time starts as soon as the product is posted.
- Entries for game 1 will not be considered valid once 15 minutes are over and/or the product for game 2 is released,which ever comes earlier. Same will be the the case for game 2 and 3.

Yes infected mushroom bro , that’s what I am saying . The picture can be wrong . This product might be original also , but what if you buy this product from ASKMEBAZR and get a fan which is not a 1400 sweep . The seller can quote the description page and say sweep is written 310 . YOU WON’T get any refund . if it had been from any good websites like amazon, Snapdeal etc…it can be considered but having said that ,if that seller ships a fan which is not a 1400 and ships 310 sweep fan . YOU can’t HELP yourself , I’m pretty sure you can’t claim that a wrong product had been shipped . Any customer representative person of that website will tell you its SWEEP 310, you have got a right product only . So we are saying , unless there is no clarity in the product page , that listing can’t be considered valid !

Really sorry to interfere in the match results. But in my opinion, the decision taken is wrong. This year’s dpl is also in accordance with the rules which were followed in previous editions.
Please see the match that was conducted DPL round 2 Match – DD4 vs DD9. There also a similar controversy was there. Title said something, description said something. Inspite if all the arguements, this was implemented:

So the evergreen rule was “Go by what is mentioned in the listing. Any discrepancy there it wont be considered”.
I request the ADMINS to have a logical look at the issue and take a correct decision".

bro……but this year rules are changed……as per rules minimum features mention in the product link….
i have one question….in never buy round if we put price error product that could be accepted by admin by description only like shirts ,pants etc…same here…..all the requirements are mention in that page……….

I got a PM asking me to cmment about what happened last year. Couldn’t remember what did happened but then I found the post by Travolta that explained it all. Thanks Travolta
My take away from that match/DPL was:
a) Official DPL Policy: There should be no conflict between the various data items on the product page. The various data items being the title and the description. In case of conflict, the entry is disqualified
My take: In case of doubt refer to the manufacturer website, if available. If that is not available refer to a listing where the manufacturer is the seller. If that is not available, disqualify the entry
Images are not considered at all since most sites have a disclaimer hidden somewhere that the images are for representational purposes only.
b) *Official DPL Policy: If there is no conflict in the title/description listing on the product page then whatever is written there is considered as valid
My take: I think it’s a silly rule. When I buy a product or post a competition entry or post a deal (the ones with a PC and not the fastest finger type) I refer to the manufacturer’s website. So blindly accepting what is written on the seller’s listing is kind of silly
Always crosscheck with the manufacturer website, if available. If that is not available refer to a listing where the manufacturer is the seller. Only if neither is available then only consider the listing as the final authority

The discrepancy clause has popped up from last year’s DPL. You cannot expect us to go through all the DPL threads and check what was interpreted from which rule.
Anyways let us make clear that Rematch was conducted in the match of The Legends Vs. Stroking 3’s, whereas rules were pretty clear that Product needs to be in stock for 30 minutes after the entry is posted. But in our case the rules are pretty clear that minimum details should be mentioned which is well mentioned.
Let it be. Dont wanna debate for just a prize, was playing for fun. But this fun got spoiled by baseless decision making.
I dont want any prize now for being at any place.

I guess this is really wrong reversing the decision again. You should have taken your time and announced it. Do you even know how bad the other team be feeling right now ? They were celebrating for last 20 hours and suddenly this decision 
. If in Cricket World Cup finals also, an umpire gives a wrong decision and a team loses a match, there is nothing that can be done unless there are some reviews left. So decision of an admin should be final and not changed again and again. Just think about it !!

True. Iv never participated in the dpl but after goin thru all the posts in this thread,it will not be nice to change the results just before The final. A lot of hard work is put behind this by each and every team. Ofcourse the Admins and Mods are the best judge. +1 for rematch

@Nigel @bumblefoot too much misunderstanding in the product page of that ASKMEBAZAR entry . Now another check this . LAZER SEAIRA (http://www.lazerindia.com/index.php/products/fa...) has only one 14000 mm fan and it looks like this
The product mentioned in ASKMEBAZAR looks like a 600 mm fan .
