trying to buy for the last one hour without success..site looks down, a couple of times it loaded but then couldn’t login

tried to place an order now, amount debited from credit card, but didn’t receive order confirmation, the transaction ended at a blank page with web address https://www.giftbig.com/hdfcdomestic/standard/f... no orders reflecting under my account, looks like a lot of time is going to get wasted for the refund
..for others who are trying to buy, my suggestion would be to wait for some time till the site gets stable

but i reiterate that AmazonIn mostly will only allow a maximum of ₹100000 [one hundred thousand Rupees] to be added using a maximum of 25 gift cards.

Sorry if my information is incorrect. Maybe these restrictions only apply to their own [AmazonIN’s] GC and not to GC’s purchased from third parties.

I say this as an assumption; over the years. If it is true then I am the one who is clueless.

do not know about mobile / portable devices.
But on computers; the said procedure [reboots, refresh, session in – session out and clearing session id [cookies] ] should rectify the problem if the problem is related to the machine

If the problem persists even by changing browsers, machines : then it is obvious the issue lies at the payment gateway or merchant site or bank interface.

Your unfortunate and long drawn “waste of time” for the refund process to complete is the sad truth for now.

could you not call them back. May be you already did. just persuade them to understand your dilemma and urgency or talk to some supervisor, if the floor person is not receptive

This is a common problem with Giftbig & their CC are always clueless.

You may have to ask for chargeback.

Did everyone noticed that Amazon Gift Card expires in one year ? That is not good. In amazon.com (US) gift card never expires. I dont know why they changed the policy for India.

you can not use the giftcard you received in SMS.

you have to use that to purchase 2500 gift card of amazon in Giftbig.com

then u will get 250 discount. and you have to pay remaining 2250 with CC/DC.
