Did anyone get the coupon yet?
Is it a flat 5$ off coupon or does it have restrictions like minimum purchase 10$ or something else?

For people looking for buying suggestions, one option is to try combining lots of cheap electronics from China. For example,
Cute USB OTG adapter: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171268…49
Klick Quick Button Dustproof Plug: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321475…60
Charger Doctor: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251570…31
MXDL 3W LED Mini Pen Torch: http://www.ebay.com/itm/360895…73
Slim Mini Wireless Optical Mouse:http://www.ebay.com/itm/111311…39
25kg x 5g Mini Digital Weighing Scale: http://www.ebay.com/itm/320917…05
CREE Q5 7W 300LM LED Torch: http://www.ebay.com/itm/390637…78
There’s tonnes of more cheap electronics on ebay.

Or you can just buy screen protectors, cases, power banks (yes, several are priced below 5$)etc.

Any non ebay suggestions?

Its for just verification of you’re card,. the 1$ will be in your paypal account , which you can use in future for online transactions.. https://cdn0.desidime.com/smileys/mlMmL.gif OR you can revert that amount to you’re CC back.

People, just a warning to those who use F**kPal to receive money. Read on for my experience:

Last year, my brother-in-law was returning home from the US after a 2 year stint at an MNC. Prior to leaving, he waned to sell his car, and advertised on craigslist. A few days later he got a call from a guy who offered around 25% more than the others, and the deal was finalized. However, there was a slight problem – the buyer wanted to pay a part of the amount using his credit card and the remaining by check.

Since, list most individuals, my brother-in-law was not equipped to accept credit cards, and having used F**kPal to receive payments for nearly a decade, I suggested that the buyer pay the balance amount using F**kPal. The convenience and added sense of security (a total myth as I realized later) was appropriate for the small % commission that they were charging.

The payment was made and F**kPal sent a message stating that the sale could be completed, upon which the buyer dropped by with the transfer of ownership documents and drove off with the car. We were quite content that the transaction had gone smoothly, but this was not to last.

The very next day, my brother-in-law received an email that his F**kPal account was limited as they needed some information about the funds he had recently received. After making innumerable phone calls and emailing around half a dozen documents across, F**kPal claimed that the card was hotlisted as stolen. When asked how did they authorize the payment, or requested to invoke their seller protection clause, the account was permanently blocked and the payment reversed.

My brother-in-law stood to lose both, the money and the car. Fortunately, he had the presence of mind to transfer the amount to his bank account and the money had gotten credited the same day. Needless to say F**kPal tried to debit the bank account too, but was declined.

I haven’t used F**kPal since then, and request all those using their services to switch to another payment gateway. On searching the internet, we came across several websites that recount similar F**kPal horror stories:

And damn if we’re going to receive it as a coupon then applying on Sendly isn’t available. https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_sad.gif

People have hate stories for everything. Search desidime and you will find lot of examples – shopclues, mobikwik are the top of my mind. Though I feel bad for your loss, paypal is still a trusted site and people will continue to use it. Yes they have to be careful when they use the receive funds services..

It varies within each bank too. My old Axis debit card (without the chip) worked for paypal payments, the new one (chip & strip) does not work. My ICICI debit card (which ironically says “PRIVILEGE BANKING INTERNATIONAL DEBIT CARD”) doesn’t work for international payments https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif . Neither does SBI/ Canara debit card.
All credit cards work.
