I was charged even under the referral free ride of 250 and it was also used during the trip. Then i mailed uber asking why i was charged when i have free ride from my friend, then they said there is some technical issue and they refunded my amount back to paytm wallet.

Who are getting charged for kochi code, please check whether that free ride under payment tab is removed after trip or not. If it was not removed then it is a problem, otherwise you can get a refund.

uber is sucking these days. there was 2 free rides in my account but they eat it up. hungry people…save your free rides…. use it as early as you get it. voted down for uber. even they charge trip time in bill. hell….

I’m in mumbai and even I applied the code successfully and got message “You have unlocked 2 free rides” but it did not show up in App under Payment → Free rides, though i could see the 2 free rides under uber web account.
Sent out an email to uber team [email protected] for clarification and finally after long conversation, they informed that THIS IS ONLY VALID IN KOCHI for users who take ride to the mentioned locations in its terms.

I have 2 free rides especially for Chennai as well as this code in my acc.

So if I took ride in Chennai , will they consider this coupon with ride and charge me,? , because validity of this coupon is less, so which coupon they will consider..
