Bad framing on my part !! I meant in all previous deals on Snapdeal or Amazon there would always be skepticism whether the product was genuine or not but not on this one since this was from cloudtail

Channel Alerts are going out via SMS… But if 2 users add same deal to their channel… We only send it out once (assuming that the receiver has subscribed to both the channels) so that way each user will only receive 1 alert for a deal…

I actually deduced that nice feature on my own a few weeks ago. It’s cost-effective and avoids duplicate alerts. But I added the deal to my channel first so my alert should have been given preference and sent atleast to my subscribers, right? I added the deal to my channel a minute or two before 1:23PM, but I received the alert from @SWEET_WI$H at 1:32PM. Perhaps @SWEET_WI$H added the deal to her channel even before me, but it was sent after some delay. And that’s why my alert wasn’t sent to our common subscribers.

Yes there was some backlog and hence it got delayed… We are working on upgrading our infrastructure to make it almost real-time soon…

Cool. By the way, the SMS alert for the deal that I added at 9:03AM was finally delivered at 3:24PM. To make things worse, the deal was a PE that lasted for only 30 minutes. Moreover, even the email alert for another deal (Mobikwik 10 Ka 20) was delayed by ~20 mins. I suppose I don’t need to tell you how crucial instant alerts are to make this feature useful.

Received the product mrp for the 8 piece pack is 975 & 2 free ones are worth 310 . Packing date is April 15 .
