Earlier I wrote to Groupon regarding cb they said wait for 3 days. Reminded again today on mail and Groupon cc said contact paytm. Forwarded the details to paytm no reply. Wrote a dm on twitter to paytm got the reply wait for 24 hrs. Will wait till tomorrow. can’t wait for 30 days.

Both Groupon and PayTM not fulfilling its offer. Even after 5 days, no cashback has come into account even though they promised within 3 days. admin……pls tell us how to claim this money in case they donot pay?

I got a reply from Groupon requesting me to wait till end of day 25th. I got my deal on 20th itself but no harm in waiting.

Paytm is being a bitch. Took me over 2 hours on twitter but they still they refused the refund. This was the last straw after they took a month to refund my money for wrong order shipment. I’ve now officially given up up these unprofessional illiterate cons. Refunded whatever money I had left in paytm to bank and told them to keep the 400 rs as donation and to close my account permanently.

After that they sent 400 as refund. But these experiences have left me with zero faith in paytm so I won’t be using it anymore. It’s not worth the headache for 500-1000 rs savings per month in bill payments (already given up on paytm shopping). Once uber allows cash or other modes of payment, I’ll close the rest of my family’s paytm accounts too. These idiots can go to hell.

Completely agree. I too have couple of valid Jabong 50% cashback (max. Rs. 200 in each case) and Paytm is not doing anything about it. And this is not cashback using any incognito mode / other means to game the system. These are valid transactions and somehow there is complete silence from their CC even after repeated followups on email. Hopeless buggers. I too would be closing my account once I know how to get the money back into the bank (since they seem to have disabled it now). For me ethics and ability to fulfill promises is more important that Rs. 100/200. Paytm seems to have completely failed in this (no phone support as well to raise a grievance). I’ll avoid Paytm for all its offers going forward and also ensure that I screw their happiness on review forums.

@Jackal Yes. Emailing them is like talking to a brick wall. I assume you have already tried twitter? If not then that’s your best chance. As for bank transfer, you can do that only if you had a failed recharge done directly via cc or a cancelled order refund. I had quite a few so was able to re claim all but 21 rs back to my credit card.

Their CC has been bombarded with thousands of impatient little idiots who demand cash back 5 mins after placing orders/recharges. I’ve seen some little shits that keep on demanding answers every 5 minutes. They’re clearly not as big as amazon or Fk and are probably overwhelmed by the sheer number of queries. Having said that, they should reply to the queries according to our number in queue which, I’ve noticed that they’re not doing so for my past few queries too Maybe it has become the victim of it’s own popularity.

Also other point, paytm announced the deal since 22th May only, so paytm responsible only after that transactions.

Wait till 25th May its become third day from the date 22th May, then raise complaint with paytm.

Anyone with a customer service quality as fantastic as paytm is going to get the blame.

Also whose fault is it that paytm announced an offer two days after it started?

And waiting a few days extra is no biggy. Its just the fact that paytm cc reps are so clueless. These idiots even refused once that there is no such offer going on. Atleast recheck and reconfirm before making such statement.

About groupon, the payment was made via paytm wallet. Not sure why paytm needs groupon to tell them the payment has been made by… wait for it… paytm itself?!

8 working hrs per day….. So 72 hrs mean nine working days…. Including Sat and sunday 11 days to get cashback

It obviously needs an answer from groupon. How will paytm know what you bought from Groupon. It might have been any other deal worth 500 from Groupon.

I sent a email to support that amount has not yet reflected in my paytm even after 3 days and they replied back to wait till Monday, so waiting for it.

in twitter they told me to wait for another 2 days … wtf!!
