Guys, can i buy fastag on my name if RC is on my family member name ?
Fastag can only be on the name of the vehicle owner, which means in the owner’s name as in the RC book. However having said that, i do know ppl having a fastag procured from agents at toll tax in other’s name. But those tags could easily be blacklisted and thus made inoperable

Unfortunately looks like there is no porting option at least till now. I was also hoping for the same and waited. I have ordered the HDFC tag today using this offer.

It is wallet based but, I’m afraid not a withdrawable wallet based like paytm.
Replacement of paytm is difficult to find. Airtel payments bank and fastag should be similar but have heard they start charging a quarterly fees for that.
Just applied with the FASTAGFREE offer and completed. Only difficulty was in giving the date of birth for which we have to go back month by month till the actual year is reached. Could have made simpler to select the DOB.

Today only my tag got shipped. Shipped via Chance Logistics. Never heard of this courier company. Not able to find any website related to Chance Logistics for tracking.
