Thanks for the heads up. Will try to avoid it in the future
How did you loose your 10$ by the way?
Bought one. No issues.
I think it’s better to register with paypal & verify your card.
Paypal will deduct & reimburse Rs 100 to Rs 120, but you have to enter secret code shown in the bank/credit card statement.
There is a option to delete the Paypal a/c if you don’t want to use the a/c in future.
+1
Dint know you can delete your paypal account. Thanks for the info
On another note, when you delete your primary card details from your paypal account, is it permanently removed from their database? or do they store detials of deleted/removed cards too?

Don’t expect them to delete your information even after you delete your PayPal account. They will either mark your account as deleted in their database, or they will move your information to a database of ‘deleted’ accounts. Latter one is most likely to happen. In the current era, valid information is almost as valuable as gold.
if u paid through paypal, pay pal deduct 1 dollar for card verification which will be automatically refunded to U within 7 days, dont worry.
Dnt buy, fake Website.. They use ur debit card number and deducts money from that
+1 @vasukinv “valid information is almost as valuable as gold”

Its safe bro.. but will take month or two for delivery
we dont know from where it is coming… what import duties will be imposed at customs..even a 50 rs fee make it a bad deal….
Appreciate all the inputs @invisible007249 , @vasukinv , @samsingh
i registered with paypal and verified the card . Thing is there have been three 1$ verification charges on my card plus another $1.94 which will be reversed
My only concern is , from a security point of view, how safe is your debit card information on your paypal account
is it better to remove the card info permanently and just pay as a paypal guest everytime you want to buy something through their gateway
Cheater site.. I got charged for $1 + INR 6.34 + Final FX rates and charges are applicable. Don’t buy.. not suggestable:oops:

Yep…$1 charge by paypal and only for verification purpose…$1 will be refunded soon
As per scamadvisor, this is a risky site. Did anyone ordered and received the product earlier?
don’t buy this product. this is a mother fuck website. this website cheated me, I placed order, but they charged around 100rs. I applied coupon also, plz don’t upload these type of bluffing deals

They will charge Rs 60 & reverse back to your a/c every time you use paypal service.
I also thinking of opting such method, don’t know whether payapl deduct 1.95$ every time re adding CC.
Why expose urself to online fraud for saving 10 – 20 rupees item.

the 1.95 $ will be charged only when you want to want to link the card to your account. If you want to just make payments , there is no charge . i was charged 1.95 after i clicked the verify button in my account
senior dimers , kindly share some info here.
I have previously ordered “Quick Button Intelligent Mobile Smart Shortcut” but didn’t received it, even after 3 months. Contacted their customer care but no use.
Has any one else got products from gearbest earlier?

I had ordered an anti-dust pin and received it. Then I ordered a phone stand, and the money was promptly refunded.

Yes. PayPal stores all of your card details. Including the CVV, which is meant for the purpose of verifying the card holder at the time of transaction. Have you noticed that you have to enter those 3 digits everytime you make a transaction on flipkart, Amazon.in etc.?
Having a Paypal account with a Credit Card linked to it opens another door to use your card (on limited sites) without physical access to it. What matters is how secure will you keep your key to the new door.
P S: I read somewhere that PayPal offers two-step authentication with a softkey. I believe that’s definitely something you shouldn’t bypass.
Paypal is genuine site..
I had previously ordered the Intelligent Mobile Smart Button too from gearbest and got it properly. 4 of my friends also received their products from this sites.
If you are being charged extra, surely its paypal card verification process, you should get refunded if you do it as per their guide. We didn’t bother much as we already have paypal verified accounts.
Even if you are too much bothered about giving out your card details to international sites like paypal, definitely create virtual cards using service like netsafe (HDFC) or Axis virtual cards and then use them.
Btw, this is a damn good deal, specially when iphone 6 comes to india, these will come very handy.
How did you got back ?
