Got the phone yesterday. Updated to Lollipop 5.1.1. Rooted without unlocking bootloader and installed Titanium backup. Backup all crappy stock apps with TB and than removed it from System. Now, I have 1.5gb space even after installing 30+ apps. I’ll use this as backup phone. So far everything is good. No lags nothing. Once, I’m bored with stock will unlock bootloader to install recovery and than will flash xposed for more fun.
Meantime, anyone know any widget for showing speed in status bar.
For battery percentage, I installed battery percentage for Lollipop and it shows the % on stock battery icon. No mod needed. Let me know if you want to ask any questions.
So you don’t need to unlock bootloader in 5.1.1 update to root the phone ?
If you want custom Recovery then only Unlocking bootloader is necessary ?
BTW i think you can use Xposed just with Root , you don’t need unlocked bootloader for that
Also Please try to install Viper4aandroid and tell me how the sound quality improves ?

If i am not wrong, for Viper4android you need to flash it through recovery?

You need to be super fast
add to cart and proceed with mobile the next sec, select COD on mobile app, you wont have to enter captcha there

I remember @Bohra had designed an impressive alert system if there were any changes on the URL.. An auto alert would be sent to the user… Some good old loot days with DD..
IS it still working?
I dont think its tough to create it again
but the problem is during last year’s big billion day, even the alerts didnt work for everyone as they were little late and the product is OOS when checked
Only thing worked is staying infront of PC with flipkart deals page opend for 12hours at a strech

Which method/tools you have used to root the phone.
Use Android one toolkit.

1. So you don’t need to unlock bootloader in 5.1.1 update to root the phone ?
2. If you want custom Recovery then only Unlocking bootloader is necessary ?
3. BTW i think you can use Xposed just with Root , you don’t need unlocked bootloader for that
4. Also Please try to install Viper4aandroid and tell me how the sound quality improves ?
1. Yes, no bootloader required to root
2. Yes, if you want custom recovery you need to unlock bootloader
3. Xposed doesn’t work like that as you mentioned with Lollipop. For lollipop you need to flash Xposed framework.zip through recovery and to use custom recovery, you have to unlock bootloader
4. What do you expect from a 2.8k phone? Awesome sound quality lol Sorry I’m not going to test viper4android as I really don’t need music on this phone. Just a backup phone for me.
how to remove system useless apps like sony max and others

no just find appropriate apk for latest 5.1.1 lollipop and just install it normally and follow instructions.
